I awoke to the warmth of the sun across my face, closing the curtains was the last thing on my mind last night.

Slowly I felt myself waken up and I turned in Klaus' arms to look at him. He was still in deep sleep, his face at complete rest. It was rare that I was awake before him or that he ever looked this at peace.

I couldn't help but let myself trace his features. He was so beautiful, something out of my imagination, like reading a book and imagining a character you know no human could ever be as perfect as but somehow he was.

Just as I had reached his lips his own hand grasped my lips and pressed a kiss into it. I gasped out of surprise.

"Good morning my love." His voice was lower after just waking up making me blush.

"Morning." I answered. He smiled down at me still holding my hand. He pulled me closer and kissed me sweetly. "What are we doing today?"

"We could just stay in bed all day." He smirked at me and I smiled pushing his face away lightly. "You don't like that idea?" He teased.

"I'm worn out you didn't let me sleep much last night." He nipped at my nose and I couldn't help but laugh.

"I didn't hear you complaining much last night." I blushed and hide my face in his chest, I could hear him laughing at me. "I'm going to get my family back from Stefan."

Last night Stefan had called Klaus after kidnapping Klaus' brothers.

"How are you gonna do that?" I looked up and him to see his jaw clench.

"I have a team of hybrids willing to do anything for me." He smirked to himself.

"If I become a hybrid will that happen to me?" I asked. He had began drawing shapes on my arm.

"No because the sire bond stems from the fact I'm saving them from the werewolf curse but you haven't been cursed therefore I'm not saving you." I hummed in response. "Come love we are heading to the grill." He stood up and looked at his phone smirking to himself, I knew that look in his eye. He was plotting.

"I want to talk about something first." I played nervous with the covers wrapped around me. Nik looked at me assessingly and nodded for me to go on. "I don't want you to hurt my friends." I looked down at the blanket and continued to play with it.

"Stefan stole from me, I'm simply taking my revenge." He walked closer to the bed but made no attempt to touch me, he let out a deep breath before speaking. "Make a list."

I looked up at him confused.

"Of what?"

"People I'm not allowed to kill, ten at the most." He crossed his arms awaiting my answer and I counted everyone up in my head.

"Caroline, Bonnie, Elena, Damon, Stefan, Jeremy, Tyler, Matt, Liz and Carol." Klaus nodded and leaned down to peck my lips.

"None of them die then." I smiled at him. "Now come on we have to go."

We quickly got ready and headed to the grill. We walked up behind Elena and Damon.

"Don't mind us." Klaus announced us.

"Klaus." Elena glared.

"And Adeline geez what am I? Invisible." Damon looked at me as if I was dirt on his shoe. I shrunk back into Klaus and we rested his hand on my back.

"You gonna do this in the Grill? In front of everyone? It's a little beneath you, don't you think?" He didn't even acknowledge me.

"I don't know what you are talking about. I just came down to my local pub to grab a drink with my girl and a mate." Damon's jaw tightened as Klaus spoke. One of Klaus' hybrids appeared beside us. I jumped slightly, they moved even faster than vampires. Klaus rubbed my back lightly noticing how uncomfortable I was with this whole situation.
