Ok so here's chapter one!

It's been a long day of moving all your stuff into your new apartment. You moved to the 20th ward because your parents wanted you in a safer ward then the one you were living in. Your in the process of unpacking when you come across a picture of you and your parents, mom with her (h/l), (h/l) hair and bright (e/c) eyes, dad with his scruffy (h/c) hair. You tear up at this because they haven't been gone more than a month because of that stupid ghoul. You put the picture down and plop down on your couch and grab your phone and see you have a message. You unlock and see its a message from your new friend Hide,

From Hide- hey (y/n)-chan! I was wondering if you would want to come to this little coffee shop called Anteiku? Just text me if you wanna come! :)
To Hide- sure I'd love too! I'll see you in about 10 minutes! If I call you then I'm lost! Lol :)
Once you send the message you run to find your (f/c) bag and (f/b) and walk out your front door.

(Time skip to you getting lost. Lol :))
"Hey Hide... I may have gotten myself a little lost, hehe uh can you help me?" You say a little embarrassed because Hide sent you directions to Anteiku and you still got lost.
"Hmmm.... It'll cost ya (y/n)-chan!" You laugh at Hide, then he helps you to Anteiku and good thing too because it started to rain as soon as you got inside the building.

You see Hide's head and walk over quietly, you put your hands over his eyes. "Guess who!" You say with a little bit of a laugh. "Hmm... This is a tough one but I'm gonna go with (y/n)-chan!" Hide squeals, while he turns around and gives you a bear hug. You tense at the hug because he surprised you but hugged him back. You walked around him and sat across from him, you two make small talk until a white haired boy who looked to be about 19 came over to take your order. "Hi welcome to Anteiku! What would you like?" Before you could say anything Hide jumped in saying, "Oi! Kaneki! Don't you know it's rude not to introduce yourself?!" The Kaneki blushes a deep red. "O-oh I'm s-sorry like H-Hide said I'm K-Kaneki." You laughed at how cute Kaneki looked when he was blushing.

Kaneki quirked an eyebrow but took Hide's order. you stopped laughing when it came time to order, "I think I'll have a cappuccino." You say Kaneki nods and walks to the counter. You look to Hide who's smirking, "what?" You say as you quirk an eybrow. "You like Kaneki don't you?" Your eyes widen and you can feel the blush crawling onto your face. "N-no I d-don't Hide! I-I just m-met the kid! H-how can I l-like someone if I kn-know nothing about them?!" You whisper yelled at your annoying friend.

Hide rolled his eyes "you like him! Don't hide it!" Hide basically screams. your blush just gets worse when Kaneki comes back with with the drinks. ok Hide here's your coffee with Italian sweet cream and here's your cappuccino... Um I never caught your name." Kaneki said with a small blush. "(Y/n), (y/n) (l/n)." you say with a little laugh.

You and Hide stayed at Anteiku almost all day just waiting for the rain to stop because neither of you had brought an umbrella. But Hide got a call from his work place saying he had to deliver something. Hide was pulling out his wallet to pay but you stopped him. "I got it today Hide. Thanks for joining me today." you say with a smile. "well thank you so much (y/n)-chan! Well I'll see you later! Bye Kaneki!" Hide said as he walked out of the coffee shop. Leaving you alone, you almost forgot you had your book, so you dig around in your bag till you find your book. You were so engrossed in this book you didn't realize it was almost nine o'clock at night. You started to pack your stuff up but didn't realize someone was behind you. When you turned around you dropped all of your stuff. "Oh my gosh I'm so so-" you were cut off by Kaneki also apologizing. "no (y/n) it was my fault! I wasn't looking!" You both bend down to pick up your stuff. Once finished you thanked Kaneki and you were about to walk past him when he grabbed your sleeve of your shirt. "Why don't I walk you home tonight. I don't want the ghouls to get you." he said with a small smile. You started to blush and nodded your head.

Kaneki finished up cleaning the last of the tables then grabbed his coat and started for the door, you close behind. He looked and slowed down so you could catch up. He took ahold of your hand, a small blush appearing on your cheeks. You kept walking until you heard an evil laugh, then saw two fiery red pupils. 'Oh no..' You thought. Right before you blacked out.

Did I do good? It was my first time writing something like this!! So I think I did good.
