THE JOURNEY FROM PLATFORM NINE AND THREE-QUARTERS
"ASTRA WILL YOU HURRY?!" Claire's voice almost made Astra lose her grip on her hairbrush. She threw her hairbrush on the bed and rushed to the door, just in time to get knocked by it.
"That must have hurt, " Alice grimaced, unconsciously touching her nose, Merlin knows how many times it had been hurt over the years.
Frank laughed beside her, dropping a hand on her shoulder.
It was September 1st and this was not how she planned to spend her morning.
At least her trunk was packed and ready and Ash was meowing angrily at her to hurry up.
"Ow!" Astra yelped, rubbing her nose. "Get Lost." She said, glaring. She shouldn't have thrown that hairbrush back.
"Are you fool Asterope?!" Mrs Galper said as she grabbed Astra's hand and started dragging her. Her face was all red, Astra wondered; if she could make Mrs Galper angrier would smoke start to pour from her ears.
"Do it, do it," James chanted under his breath, suddenly he perked up, "Chanting om while meditation really helps in focusing." He said to Harry.
"Really," Harry peered, why didn't anybody tell him that before? He could use some meditation help.
Remus groaned from beside him, "Not again James."
"Right now we have more important matters than your second most obsession with meditation," Said Sirius shoving James into Peter before leaning forward, "like watching my niece."
"You could use some meditation Sirius, you as well Evans." Said James, "That much anger will mess with your blood pressure and mind."
"And whose fault is that?" Lily sneered at the lovestruck boy.
"Your train leaves at 11 and it's an hour's drive from here!"
Astra couldn't have imagined in her most bizarre dreams, that Mrs Galper would ever care for Astra's punctuality.
"I am pretty sure she just wants Astra to leave as soon as she can." Said, Ginny.
"You don't need to point out the obvious Weasley."
"Meow," screeched Ash, but unlike the past month, that cat was now screeching at Astra instead of chasing Mrs Galper around. That traitorous brat.
"I want to see that, " said Barty, running his hands, "I get it would be more fun than watching Solana running with her head on fire."
"We can set someone on fire in Hogwarts," asked James.
"No Mr potter, you can't." Replied McGonagall.
"Ms Selene." Slughorn gasped, "So it was you."
"First of all it was in our second year," Fiana said raising her hand defensively, "And second it just looked like fire, it didn't really burn her head. And third," she said pointing her finger to youngest black brother, "it was him."
"She was annoying me endlessly." Regulus shrugged at the questioning gazes.
Astra yanked back her hand, "Shut up." Mrs Galper was just eager to not see Astra for the rest of the year. A belief Claire and Felix clearly didn't share.
"Don't run in the corridor! " Mrs Galper shouted but Astra was already down the staircase.
"Who guessed Claire could shout," Astra said, pink tinted Claire's cheeks as she handed Astra her grey backpack.
