Hi! I'm Hannah Gold! I'm here to tell you my story. I was just a little girl when this happened. I was living in a small cottage with my four sisters and my mother. We were all around the age of six. While I was sleeping in my twin bed on the night of the harvest I heard a thump on my window. I peeked out and saw two beast~like things smirking at me like I was some juicy piece of meat. I looked closely at what I was seeing and that's when i t all began. I'm now thirteen and I still have nightmares on the night of the harvest. The harvest is when all kids go to sleep snuggly in their beds and their parents tell them they are not allowed to wake up until the next night. That's because in the village we have a row of judges. The judges decide what we can and can't do. We all have to act like one another and we can't be different. None of us can. One night there was this little girl named Sophie and she was a bad kid. That's what they all say. So our judges made up this vaccine to make some sort of mutant thing, as we call them the Reapers. They come into your bedroom if you have been a bad kid and pluck you right out of your bed and drag you off to the harvest ceremony. No one knows what the harvest ceremony is because we aren't allowed to leave this town. If we do leave then the Reapers will get us on the Harvest Ceremony. I have been dragged off to the harvest ceremony. I came back. No one knows how I did it. But I do and that's one secret I will never tell.
