Chapter 1

A young little crimson newspark that was just born laid next to a tree, she was all alone. She started to cry, but she started to grow tired. The little newspark fell asleep next to the tree, she closed her optics. Later that day, a grumpy orange and white medic was yelling at some human kids ''Miko! I needed that!" "Oops, sorry Ratchet." the human girl said. The old bot groaned, he turned to see a certain wrecker in front of him. Miko whispered to her friends, ''I bet that Wheeljack is going to try to kiss Ratchet this time." she snickered, her friend Raf shook his head "Miko, that will never happen. Ratchet doesn't like Wheeljack as much Wheeljack likes him." "Why always ruin the fun, Raf." Miko pouts. Ratchet sighed "What is it now, Wheeljack." "Optimus wants us to go on a mission together, Doc." Wheeljack said with a smirk. The medic sighed, he never argued with Optimus but when it comes to Wheeljack would draw the line.

"Find someone else to go with you." Ratchet said, Jack, Miko's and Raf's friend just came to the autobot base with his mother, June. They got off a blue motorbike who transformed into Arcee, Ratchet looked at Arcee "Arcee, could you go with Wheeljack on a mission?" The wheeler femme crossed her arms "I'm not taking your place on any missions with Wheeljack." "Fine, I'll go on the mission." Ratchet groaned. He turned around and saw the groundbridge was already opened. Wheeljack smiled, "Let's go doc." He walked towards the groundbridge and left. The medic shook his head and sighed as he headed towards the groundbridge and left. The two entered a forest "Did you get the coordinates right?" "Yeah, Doc." The wrecker started to walk around the forest, the medic followed Wheeljack. His optics moved around, he noticed something red? Crimson? A Crimson red femme? "Wheeljack, stop, do you see a small red newspark?" Ratchet asked when he looked at the tree that the sparkling was under.

Wheeljack looked at the tree, then raised a brow "A newspark way out here?" The two bots walk towards the femme newspark. They looked at each other then at the newspark "A newspark?" Ratchet gently picked up the newspark. She opened her optics, and cooed. Wheeljack smiled, "We should adopt her." "What no, we should look for her parents." "Come on, Doc. Maybe her parents left her out here for a reason." Wheeljack said. Ratchet looked at the newspark, he saw the innocence in her optics. He softened his optics then let out a sigh "Alright. Let's take her to the base." The two bots walked back to the base through the groundbridge. The other autobots were amazed on seeing a newspark, Bulkhead said "That's highly rare to see a newspark." The kids heard Bulkhead. "What's a newspark?" Raf asked. Miko rolled her eyes "It's a baby duh, right?" The green wrecker nods "You're right, Miko." "Wait, I am?"

Ratchet gives Wheeljack the newspark 'I have to make low energon." "Low energon? What's that" Jack asked. The medic walked off, Wheeljack smiled "It's like enegron but it's safer for squints like this newspark." "What are we going to name the newspark?" Miko asked, Wheeljack smiled more "Rubymist. Ruby for short." The newspark cooed, "Aw she likes the name." Raf smiled, Ratchet returned back with a bottle of low energon for Ruby. he handed it to Wheeljack, who gave Ruby the bottle, she gently latched on the bottle and suckled from the bottle. "So who's going to be the mom and who's going to be the dad." Miko asked, "I'm going to be the mom while Doc is the dad." The wrecker said, Ratchet looked at Wheeljack "Eyp eyp eyp,I am not going to be Ruby's fath........" He saw Ruby's little optics, his optics softened. "Alright, fine. But that doesn't make us mates." "Whatever you say, Sunshine." Wheeljack winked at the medic and walked off. "Miko, don't do it."Jack said, "Woooo, I ship it." Miko said. Jack facepalms. Wheeljack chuckled a bit. Optimus walks into the room, he notices Wheeljack holding Ruby. "You found her." The prime said, the kids became confused. Jack asked "Wait you knew?" "Yes, The sparkling's mother, Silverspeed contacted me to have someone take in her daughter. The sparkling's innocence was too much to bare for the decepticon kind, so she left her daughter in the woods, hoping one day someone would find her." Optimus stated. June said "Wow, that's a little harsh to someone to a child. But I understand what she did to keep her daughter safe and sound." She looked at Ruby who suckled from the bottle.

Wheeljack smiled "Doc and I already adopted her." "I'm still not your mate!" Ratchet shouted. The wrecker chuckled a bit "He'll warm up to me." "I don't think he would, Jackie." Bulkhead said. The wrecker smiled more "He will in time." Miko started to think "Hey, Wheeljack. If you're the mom of Ruby then what makes Bulkhead?" "The uncle." "Hms, Then that means me her cousin then?" Miko said, Bulkhead chuckled nervously "Uh, Miko. I don't see you as my child, more like a best friend." "Right, right. Then I'll be Ruby's big sister." the japanese teen smiled. Jack and Raf looked at their friend confused, The girl looked at them "What?" "She's bigger than you." "I mean age wise." "Oh, right." Jack chuckled then rubbed the back of his head

Ruby finished the bottle, she started to cry. "Shhhhh, shhhh." Wheeljack said. Ratchet walked to Wheeljack and took the sparkling. He held her in his arms and hummed a family lullaby while holding his daughter over his shoulder and patting her back, the little sparkling let out a burp. "Whoa, what a great burp, little sis." Miko cheered. Ratchet raised a brow "Since you became Ruby's older sister." "Since I adopted her as my little sister." Miko smiled. Ratchet groaned 'Great, Miko is my "daughter" now' Ruby whined slightly, she was focusing. "Aw scrap." Wheeljack said. Ratchet gave Wheeljack Ruby then ran off to get a diaper, the medic came back and well it was too late. "Oh scrap." Wheeljack sighed, Ruby giggled. The rest covered their noses and went "ewww gross." Ratchet takes Ruby and cleans her behind and puts on the diaper, he pulls down on his audio and places his daughter in his back compartment.

Wheeljack walked off to get himself cleaned. "Whoa, Ratchet is a kangaroo" Miko said, The old medic looked at Miko, Jack and Raf "A kanga what?" "A kangaroo is a marsupial from Australia that carries their young in a pouch." Raf said, the medic grumbled "Right, right." June frowned, "Ratchet, you better put protection in there." "Oh I will." Ratchet looked at his back compartment, he opened it then pulled out Ruby and held her in his arms. The little crimson femme looked at her father, she sneezed slightly. Ratchet smiled, he walked to a medical bed then lay down placing Ruby on top of him. Everyone was confused by this action by the old medic. He looked at everyone then said "What? I'm not allowed to have some father daughter time?" Everyone just looked away or did something else. Ratchet looked at Ruby who fell asleep, sucking her thumb. Ratchet fell asleep while placing a servo on his daughter's back ever so gently as he drifted off to sleep. Miko took a picture on her phone and smiled. Wheeljack walked back into the main room, He smiled "Aw Doc and the kid sleeping." "Would we see more of this?" Miko asked while taking a picture. "I guess so, Kid." Wheeljack smiled
