Chapter 2 : Rivals

***Chaeyeon/Jihoon's POV***

I woke up by a sound of a thud and breaking glass. Soon enough I heard a low voice curse and groan. I got up as my head hit the ceiling. What the hell, who bought a tall bed when the ceiling is this low? Somehow got to I crawled to the ladder and climbed down, greeted by a tall boy, also known as Chanyeol.

"Oh you woke up, it's just 6AM." He said, crossing his arms. "You're an early bird huh?"

I was about to respond, but I realised he just came out of the shower with a towel around his waist. I ignored the fact that he was nearly naked. And there was glass shattered on the floor. I raised an eyebrow, he sighed and grabbed a broom. I didn't want to seem feminine, so I pulled it off calmly. "I'll take it. Just go and change."

"Thanks." He smiled. I couldn't just see him with a robe, I'm still a girl. I realised he broke a small blue mug. I shook my head and threw the shattered glass into the messy looking trash can. Soon enough Chanyeol came out all dressed in his school uniform.

"It's still an hour and a half till class starts. But I'll go ahead first." He said while signalling with his hand. His hair was still all messed up, and his backpack's strap was all twisted. I only nodded coldly as he left. I raised an eyebrow, this Chanyeol guy is really good at dealing with strangers.

1st period had just ended, and now it was lunch. I roamed around, pretty much lost. Then I remembered there were maps framed onto the walls in each floor. So I made my way to the entrance. On my little journey I bumped into somebody, oh well. I shifted my gaze at, obviously a him. I realized that the tanned guy, Kai was in front of me. He wore his uniform nicely, his hair was nicely brushed and a wide smile was on his face.

"Oh, Jihoon." Kai exclaimed. I looked at him. "You seem lost."

"Well yeah, I don't know where the cafeteria is." I said, leading to Kai grinning and grabbing my wrist. I was a bit flustered. My cheeks were burning, I wasn't used to have any skin contact with people. I didn't like how my emotions reacted to it. But again, I just ignored it.

"To explain it, we have three cafeterias. Two in the first floor and one in the top floor." Kai explained while leading me to one of the lunch rooms. I nodded, but started wondering.

"Top floor? Why top floor?" I asked, curiosity slowly taking over me. To be honest I was so confused, and there were so many questions to ask. But apparently I couldn't ask anybody, they start to suspect me even more.

"It's where teachers and the staff has their lunch." He answered simply. I just nodded as he led me to one of the doors. Soon it opened, and of course it was crowded inside. "There is usually not enough tables here."

We both went to buy some food. The line was long as well. Kai and I were chatting along the way. Sometimes I ignored him, but he would talk it off. Kai was actually pretty nice and dealt with ignorance just fine, unlike Chanyeol. "Can I ask you something?"
