A New Future

Lisa- Y/N, stop crying! 

I sniffled. Rosé wrapped her arms around my waist. 

Rosé- Babe, what's wrong? Did Vernon do something? Do I need to kick his butt?

Y/N- No, no. It's just that I'm just unsure. Does he love me? How do I know he's not just marrying me for the prophecy? 

There was silence. The possibility of Ghea getting upset because the ties between the two forces wasn't enforced was high. 

Jisoo-I don't think so. That day you were saved by him, how would he have known to walk those exact streets? He met you by the strings of fate. I know he's kind of tsundere, but I think really does care about you.

There was a knock on the door. 

Jeonghan- Hey, everything okay? 

Lisa- yes, now go away! 

Jeonghan- Is there something I should be aware of? What happened to my daughter? 

Lisa- NOTHING! 

Jeonghan- Lisa Monoban! I swear to go-

Y/n- I'm fine! Be out in a minute!

With that Jeonghan left footsteps clicking down the hallway. I heaved a deep sigh. I was back in the church where the Tarlacsians had tried to marry me off. Except the groom was different now. I was being wed to Vernon. The burden was suffocating. this wedding would ensure peace throughout the Demon and Vampire races for years to come. Except, to be honest I was scared. 

Would I be treated as nothing than a powerful toy like Jinyoung had seen me? Would I be judged like how ITZY had treated me? 

Lisa- Babe. He does love you. 

I looked up at my best friend. 

Y/n- How do you know? 

Lisa- Jihyo talked to Ghea. They peered at his heart. And to be honest he's just as scared as you. Both of you need to support each other. You're relationship will grow and grow after marriage. It's going to be okay.

I nodded. the wedding was already late. I had hid in the bride's room alongside Blackpink for 2 hours. It was time. 

Y/n- I'm ready. 

the four girls looked surprised. 

Jennie- That's my girl! 

 When the doors opened, I saw the same hall as when Lee Know had escorted me down. Except it was different. ATEEZ sat in the left pews alongside Persephone. Seventeen and Jihyo sat at the right. And in the back were 10 familiar entities. 

Aries- You got this kid! 

In the very center was my to be husband. Vernon. the young man smiled as  I arrived .

Vernon- I was afraid you'd ran on me. 

Y/n- tsk. 

The priest was the same man, BamBam, but he looked happier. 

BamBam- We are gathered today on this momentous occasion to celebrate a wedding that will be spoken for generations. . . Vernon do you take Y/n as your lawfully wedded wife? 

Vernon- I do. 

There were several hoots from Seventeen. 

BamBam- Y/n, do you take Vernon as you lawfully wedded husband? 

A still breath. then I spoke the words I had been so scared to reveal. 

Y/n- I do. 

BamBam- you may kiss the bride. 

I let out a small squeak as Vernon swooped me into his arms and planted a smooth kiss on my lips. 

Vernon- Don't worry Y/n we'll go through this as slow as you need. Just know that I do really care about you and it's not just because of this prophecy.  I love you. 

I smiled. Vernon's voice was full of sincerity. He really meant it. With a smooth voice I replied with, 

Y/n- Love you.
