I was still confused as to how Maya's men found me. I watched the police drag the soldiers away. I turned to Lloyd. "Thanks. I don't know how they found me, but I couldn't hold them off on my own." I admitted as Lloyd looked my way. "I'm glad you showed up when you did."

"When I walked in here, I thought I was too late. But I wasn't going to let them hurt you." Lloyd said truthfully.

I smiled at him. I don't think now's the time to joke around and call him "Luh-loyd" I thought as he placed a hand on my shoulder. "Are you hurt? How are those cuts holding up?" He asked as he felt my side. I winced from the pain.

"It stings and aches but nothing unusual." I summed up, trying to hide my grimace.

"I thought I lost you for a second when Jay said that troops were headed your way." Lloyd added quietly as tears formed at the edge of his eyes. I pulled him into a tight embrace. He hugged back as I tried to calm him down.

"I'm fine, see. You don't need to worry about losing me." I spoke softly, planting a kiss on his cheek. "I'm not going anywhere."

"Thank you for being there for me." He mumbled as he let go hesitantly.

"I'll always be here for you." I said as he wiped away a few tears that managed to escape."Come on, lets go and find something to do." I suggested.

"Sounds like a good idea." Lloyd agreed as we kissed quickly before holding hands as we walked out the building.

"How does a game night sound?" I challenged as Lloyd laughed.

"Let's grab the others then." Lloyd said letting go of my hand and placed it on his communicator. "Nya, can you and the others meet us back at the monastery?" He asked.

"Sure, I just need to get this witch in a cell before we do. I'll tell the others to started heading your way." Nya responded.

"Great. See you soon." Lloyd let his arm fall back to his side. "That went well. Race you back?"

"You're on!" I called as we called our dragons. Lloyd's appeared in a puff of green energy, mine burst into bright red flames as it came shortly after. We mounted our dragons and grinned at each other. "Ready. . ." I smirked.

"Set. . ." Lloyd responded.

"Ninja-GOO!!!" We yelled as we took off at lightning speed. Seeping towards the monastery, Lloyd blocked me from moving forward. "Not bad, La-loyd!" I called as I looped over him and kept flying forwards.

"Don't call me La-loyd!" He yelled as he sped closer until he was bogey on my 6.

It was a close call, even I wasn't sure who won. We landed our dragons in the training ground. "I think it's a tie." Lloyd admitted as we dismounted.

"Yeah, I think you're right." I laughed as we walked inside. I made my way to the kitchen. "I was thinking about making dinner for everyone before we started the gaming fiasco." I called as Lloyd joined me in the kitchen.

"Cool, what are we making?" Lloyd asked peering at the cookbook. "What about spaghetti and meatballs?"

I looked over at the recipe. "Sure. . . could you grab the chopped tomatoes?" I asked as I grabbed a saucepan and filled it with water.

The water boiled a lot quicker than anticipated I dumped the spaghetti strands in, twirling them until they were fully submerged. Lloyd started on the sauce. "Should we give it a little spice?" Lloyd asked holding up the salt and pepper pots as well as chilli flakes. I kept a beady eye on the pasta sad I gave a nod.
