When Kelly and I got there, all of the guys greeted me, except for Phil. "All of us have been fucking busy." I say. They all agreed.
"But, I will catch up with you later, right now I need to talk to Phil." I said, pointing my attention to him. He looked at me and nodded, not saying anything.
We walked out into the hall and shut the door. "I'm sorry." We both said at the same time. I looked at him and let out a small smile. "Let me go first." I said
He nodded and I began to talk. "I apologize for yelling at you. I didn't mean what I said, me and you romantically involved or fucking involved as more than just friends, just doesn't work. But that doesn't mean I don't want you in my life, I was wondering if we could be friends." I said.
He smiled. "Of course. I should apologize as well. I shouldn't of done what I did to you and then ask for your forgiveness, your right about us. It just doesn't work, it's a fucking train wreck. And I'm more than willing to be friends. Your a good person Erin, and I have a feeling you'll be the one to keep the guys and I out of trouble." He said.
"I accept your apology." I said. He said the same. "So how have you been?" He asked. "I've been good. I got a tattoo and I met someone." I smiled.
"A tattoo?" He asked. I laughed. "I got it the day of our fight after you left." I said, pulling my hair away from my neck and revealing the snake bites. He looked at them and smiled.
"The Hollywood Vampires." He said. I nodded. "Tracii explained it to me." I said. He nodded. "So whose this someone?" He asked wiggling his eyebrows, mocking me. I slapped his arm in a playful manor.
"Brent Muscat. Apparently Kelly was in a band with him before he was in L.A. Guns." I said. "Faster Pussycat? Yeah, Kelly told us about the band when he joined us, but I'm glad your happy." He said.
I'm glad we were okay again. "So what about you?" I asked. "I went out with a nice girl the other day, I'm thinking about seeing her again, she's different." I had a feeling Phil was going to become my best friend.
We walked back in and all of them were looking at us. "We're fine, we're not back together, but we're friends." I said. Phil laughed. "Our Erin here is in love." Phil said.
I looked at him wide eyed. "No way, who?" Tracii asked. I looked at Phil, then to Kelly and then back to Phil. Kelly looked like something was bothering him. "Brent Muscat." Phil smirked.
"As in Kelly's old band? Did he introduce you to him?" Tracii asked. I shook my head. "Brent met me at the Whiskey one night when I was working, we gave each other our numbers and then he left. I didn't even know he and Kelly knew each other, let alone were in the same band together till this morning." I told them
"Small world, well how do you know that you love him?" Steve asked. I looked at him. "Well, he's really nice to me and I don't know if I do love him, but there's just something about him." I said, my cheeks turning red.
"Maybe it has to do with how good he is in the sack." Kelly said, lighting a cigarette. I looked at him. I can't believe he said that...well I can, just I never though he'd say that, directed to me.
"Wait, you slept with him, when?" Tracii asked, being really fucking invested in this for some reason. I didn't say anything I just stood there.
"They were loud, how do you think I found out it was Brent? I watched him try and sneak out of the apartment this morning." Kelly said. I really don't understand what his problem was.
I didn't say anything and the subject faded, with a few snide comments from either Kelly or Tracii. After they were done, I said goodbye to all them. It was good not having to avoid Phil anymore.
Kelly drove us back home and the ride there was silent. When we got home, I went to my room and waited for Brent. When he came to the apartment, Kelly answered the door when Brent knocked and told me that Brent was here.
"Hi Brent." I smiled, as I walked out of my room and Kelly was walking out of the apartment door. "Hi Erin." Brent said. "So what are we doing?" I asked. "The guys and I have a show, and I want to show you off." He said smiling and kissing my cheek.
I laughed. "Okay, just let me get changed." I got changed into a tight white lace top, a pair of black jeans, a leather jacket and some short heeled combat boots. "Whoa, babe, your hot." Brent said when I walked out.
We then went to the show. They were really good. Brent of course kept looking at me from where I was standing. After the show was over, we all went to a bar. "I'll have beer." All of them said. "What about the lady." The women who waited on us asked.
I smiled at her. "I'll have water." I told her. She nodded and went to get our drinks. "Water? What are you, a nun?" Taime asked me. I let out a small laugh and shook my head no. "I don't drink for a number of reasons."
As we were leaving, the guys weren't wasted, just buzzed. Brent and I were sharing a kiss as we exited the bar and a flash of light appeared and then disappeared. We stopped the kiss and looked in front of us. Another flash.
"Fuck, they just can't leave us alone." Brent said. I under estimated how much fame they had. They're new, had just gotten a record deal a few months ago. A few more flashes went off and then Brent grabbed my hand and we ran down the street.
Eventually we stopped. "I underestimated how fast your fame was growing." I said, catching my breathe. Realistically I don't think I could survive being Brent's girlfriend. I couldn't even survive the tiny things Phil and I did. Having attention like this scared the shit out of me.
Eventually Brent took me home and said he'd see me again in a few weeks. The band had important things to do. I nodded and we kissed for awhile. We'd be away from each other for a week.
I went to go unlock the door but it was already unlocked. I opened the door and didn't see Kelly. I went to my room and knocked on Kelly's door, no answer. I opened his bedroom door and he wasn't in there.
I walked to bathroom and opened the door. I found Kelly sitting on the bathroom floor with his back against the bath tub. His face was all bruised and bloody, covered in cuts and he had blood stains on his shirt that I'm pretty sure are his.
"Holy fucking fuck, Kelly, are you okay?" I asked rushing to his side. He lazily moved his head to look at me and smirked. "Never better."
