Julie, get back in bed

Chap 1

'Mom? I can't sleep.' Julie softly said.

'Julie? Please get back in bed! You have school in the morning.' Jane sleepily replied.

'But I don't feel well! My head feels hot and my stomach feels funny.'

Jane put her hand on her head. 'Oh! Oh you're right. Well, don't worry, Mommy will take care of you.'

Later that day.

'How are you doing, kiddo?' Jane kindly asked.

'Better, I guess.' Julie shrugged.

'Feel like eating something?'

'Will I throw up this time?'

'I don't know. Depends on if your stomach feels like it's getting better.'

Sure enough, Julie managed to hold down the soup that her mom made for her.

'Thanks Mom. You're the best!' Then she hugged her.

'Aw, I love you too, sweetie!'
