I know what to write in the last chapters but couldn't bring myself to write given I have been writing this book for nearly an year and ending it kinda makes me feel sad. But all good things deserve a good end right. So, here's the next chapter.

Chapter Forty Four

Sivaangi scratched her hair as she concentrated on the cards in her hand. She, Husein, Manimegalai, Pugazh and Benzy were playing rummy. She has played cards years ago when she was at hostel during her UG and so, she was bit slow while playing.

It has been a day and half since her hospital visit and Sivaangi felt better after taking medications. Ashwin didn't call her after asking her if she wants him or her inheritance. She asked Pugazh who also said that Ashwin didn't call him either but left a text saying he'll call soon.

It did worried Sivaangi but Pugazh assured her that everything's okay. With Manimegalai, Husein, Pugazh and Benzy, she did enjoy when they all went to farm fields. They tried their best to distract her.

Currently Manimegalai suggested to play cards after a hearty lunch. Sivaangi was excited to play but it took her time to speed up with the game.

'Indha 7 no card ah podalama vendama? Oru velai idhu joker ah irundhuchu na?' Sivaangi thought to herself as she contemplated whether to discard the card no 7. They were playing sevens.

"Eii, vegama podu di! Vitta adhutha varusham dhan card ah poduva pola" Manimegalai said rushing Sivaangi as she was the next one to play.

"Ada, irunga Ka" Sivaangi said placing her finger on card no 7 but shook her head and discarded a heart J card.

"Indha aagadha card ah poda ivalo nerama, huh" Manimegalai huffed and took a card from the deck.

"Eii, yenna ni papa va meratite iruka? Enn mapilai ku therincha unna thorathi thorathi adipan, theriyum la" Pugazh said dramatically making Sivaangi chuckle.

"Yedhu, andha valandhu kettavan dhana. Varatum, varatum, indha Manimegalai na yaru nu kaatira maten" Manimegalai said maintaining her attitude.

"Nee verum vaayi dhan, Chotii. Pona thadava dhana avan thorathitu varan nu rendu veedu thalli iruka maatukotam la olinju irundha" Husein said chuckling.
