Screams of sorrow and pain resounded through my brain. Begging me, pleading me.
I sit up from my bed, blankets flying up. My eyes dart around the room crazily. I gasp in relief, realizing it was just a dream. I reach up and rub my eyes. I glance at my wrists seeing faint scars, along with newer ones. I sigh, peeling the warm blankets away from my body. Wearily stand in front of my bed, I stretch, feeling the sore muscles in my back soften. I walk sleepily out of my room, padding down the stairs. I make my way to the kitchen, stumbling slightly. Swinging open the fridge door, spot some leftover Chinese food. "It may not be breakfast, but it's edible." I grab it not really caring. I plot in a stool by the kitchen counter. I see my phone on the counter charging. I turn it on,expecting nothing. I almost drop my rice, seeing a text from Sabrina. Sabrina is an old friend from middle school. Now in h school, and in different schools,we don't really see each other. I eagerly type in my password, tapping on the iMessage app. I falter seeing that the text was an accident. "Heyyyy,Bae!!!"....."oh,oopsie! Wrong person." I sigh setting my phone on the counter. "Same old, same old." I murmur while eating my Chinese food. "I don't know if it will ever change..."...................................................................................................................................................................
