The sky was full of stars that night. (Y/N) was helping John Silver clean up a bit in the ship's kitchen, when she dropped the spoon she was washing. "Ah shit.."
She bent over to pick up the spoon, catching the eyes of John Silver, her captain.
Silver and (Y/N) were not a couple, but had high respect for one another. John admired (Y/N) for her courage, she was a stow-away on his ship for a year till one day he found her getting dressed below deck where no one would see her. At first he was pretty pissed off, a woman sneaking onto his ship? She must be a harlot or a spy! But when he saw she posed no real threat and was afraid of him, he sympathized with her and spared her life. Originally, he was just gonna drop her off next time they reached land, hoping she'd make it out on her own, but John grew attached to (Y/N) as they got to know eachother better and learned to trust one another. Now days, Silver was her captain, and (Y/N) was his spy. He would send her off to different places so she could gather information from other pirates and normal civilians, then report back to him all she gathered. This definitely helped in plundering raids and robberies.
He hated to admit it, but John deep down had a soft spot for (Y/N).
In fact, when the day (Y/N) was supposed to unboard the ship, Silver was the one who invited her to stay.
