CHAPTER10

LATER

Astrid and Derek came to visit. Derek was taken here by a nurse, he's in a wheelchair for now. 

''So, how are you?''

Dereks asks me. 

''I'm good''

''What in the world were you two thinking going back there?''

Astrid suddenly buts in. 

''Well, i went there for my boyfriend''

''And i ran back to help her''

We sum up the story for her.

''OK, i will never understand the both of you''

She says when we have finished telling the story. We chuckle. 

''So, you've never been in love?''

I ask her. Astrid makes a thinking face, like she's trying to remember.

''Hey, hey, hey, no love for you missy''

Derek pints to her while shouting. And Astrid throws a grape at him, that she was about to eat. And the grape war started. 

2MONTHS LATER

''We are doing the best we can, you have to be patient''

Says my dad after i have asked him for updates on Ben. 

''That's what i've heard for the past 2 moths, are you even doing anything?''

I'm losing my mind here. 

''Yes, we are but it's not easy and now calm down, i have work to do''

''Uhh fine''

I was about to open the doors to leave but somebody opens the doors from the other side. It's a man. I'm seeing him for the fist time. He's pretty young. Could be a few years older than me. 

''Andy, what did you want?''

''We've found Ben's location''

This grabs my attention. 

''What?''

I grab the boy by his shoulders and shake him.

''Where is he?''

My dad breaks me off him. 

''Let him speak''

He turns to Andy. 

''Andy''

He motions for him to speak. And clears his throat. 

''Thank you''

He doesn't look bothered by what i just did at all. 

''He's in the Willard''

It's an abonded hospital near here. 

''Ok, let's go get him''

I was going to run out the room but my dad catches me. 

''Slow down'' ''WE are not going anywhere, you are staying here''

''What? No!''

I was going to protest but my dad says strictly''

''You are staying here''

''But-''

''Do i have to lock you in your room?''

''No''

I sigh.

''I'll leave''

I leave the room. I go straight to Derek's room. I barge in without knocking. 

''They found him''

I barge in, yelling, excited. But i instantly turn around because he was just about to put his shirt on. 

''Hi to you too''

He sarcastcly. 

''You can turn around now''

I turn around to see him fully dressed. 

''They found Ben''

''Really? Where is he?''

''In Willand''

'''That's crazy''

''So, you'll help me, right?''

''What?''

He asks confused. 

''They're not letting me go but you'll help me sneak out''

He puts his hands on my shoulders. 

''No''

I reaze what he just said. 

''You're kidding''

I chuckle, not believing what he just said. 

''No, i'm not'' ''I won't help you''

I get angry. 

''But you're my friend''

''Yes, i am your friend and i won't let you run in danger and risk your life''

''He is my life''

I yell back at him. 

''And if you don't want to hlep me, fine, i'll do it myself''

I storm out the room.
