Vox was doing work on his computer when he heard the door open. As he turns his head, he sees Shoto crying and running into the bathroom, slamming the door shut. Vox stood up from his chair and walked over to the bathroom. "What happened dear?" Vox asked through the door, concerned that something happened. Shoto sniffles and mutters out incoherent words that Vox couldn't understand. "Could you please open the door?" Vox said calmly. Shoto opened the door and Vox immediately hugged him. "What happened my love? Why are you crying?" Vox asked. "T-they were making fun of me.. and saying that I was fat and I don't deserve you.." Shoto blurted. Vox got angry, but kept his cool. "You're not fat my love, you're absolutely perfect." Vox said, trying to comfort his boyfriend.
"But I am fat.. Look at this.." Shoto said as he lifted his shirt to show his love handle. Vox lowered his shirt and sighed, "And it's beautiful. Don't live up to other peoples standards, you shouldn't feel bad about your body just because some people called you fat. If anything, your love handle is beautiful and I love it just as much as I love you." Shoto looked at Vox, tears filling his eyes. As he sniffles, he quickly pulls Vox into his embrace. "I love you too.." Shoto mutters as Vox picks him up and sets him on the bed. "Your body is absolutely perfect my love, don't feel bad about it." Shoto nods and softly smiles as he lays back on the bed. "I'm sleepy.." Shoto mumbled. "Get into your pajamas and go to sleep, I'll wait for you." Vox replied. Shoto nods and leaves the room to change and comes back, wearing Vox's hoodie. Vox chuckles and taps the bed to bring Shoto there. Shoto waddles over to the bed and lays down next to his boyfriend. Vox pulled Shoto closer to him and kissed him on the head before playing with his hair to get him to fall asleep.
Minutes later, both of them were sound asleep in each other's arms. ❦
