My knowledge on gem is somewhat limited but I do love her so I thought I'd write something for her!

Warnings- being tricked, being drugged (not to a deadly extent), kidnapping, feeling dizzy/passing out, slight force feeding, uncomfortable situations

The wind danced around you, wrapping you in it's cool embrace as you happily wandered from your work in progress base other to Gem's quaint treehouse. You shivered as you walked through the familiar area, confused as to why your body was reacting in such a way. The wind was cool, it was a comforting temperature that made your face tingle ever so gently. So why were you shivering? You shook it off as you continued your way towards your dear friends starter home.

The wind was pushing against you, as if it was trying to tell you to turn back. Obviously the wind had just picked up a bit, but it was ironic considering what you were walking into. Reaching the wooden structure, you let your knuckle hit across the door, earning yourself a squeal and some crashing noises. You raised an eyebrow at the reaction, opening your mouth to ask if she was alright but before you could even get a breath out, gem had opened the door.

Her luscious ginger hair was tied in a messy plat, gorgeous sun-coloured flowers sticking out of it in random places. She wore an apron that was covered in flour on top of her usual cottage core attire. Her face was decorated with a light pink blush and a delicate smile. She really was beautiful. You smiled at her, holding back a laugh at her disheveled appearance.

"You alright gem? Did your furnace explode on you?" You teased, an amused giggle being your response. "Well hello to you too! And you just startled me, I was baking you something as a surprise." Gem's angelic like voice filled your ears as your smile grew at every word she spoke. She copied your enthusiasm, delighting in your joy. "Aw gem! You didn't have to, but thank you." You said, your hands fiddling with each other. "You deserve a treat! Now come in, take a seat whilst I finish up. You won't be waiting too long, I promise." Gem ushered you into her dainty base, her hand lingering on your shoulder a few seconds too long before she wandering over to her kitchen setup.

You sat on her couch and shuffled as deep in as you could, getting as comfortable as possible. The wind whistled outside, it really wouldn't leave you alone, huh. "So what did you need me for?" You asked, as you looked at the back of your fellow hermit. "Like I said, it's a surprise! I have quite a lot planned for today. I bet you'll never guess what's going to happen." She hummed, stirring around the mixture in the sage-green bowl with an oak spoon. The smell was divine, you were almost drooling at the idea of eating whatever Gem was making for you. She always made you feel so loved.

You smirked at her confidence in you not figuring out her secrets. "We'll see about that." You replied in a competitive manor, though the churning in your stomach told you to back down. "I guess we will." Gem responded. You couldn't see the look on her face, but the expression was uncomfortable to look at. The far off look in her eyes, the somewhat forced smile, so small it was hard to class it as one. Something was wrong, and you were no closer to noticing that fact. You trusted her, and it made Gem almost feel guilty for what she was about to do.

The furnace beeped, alerting Gem that her cookies were done. You asked if she needed any help but she declined your polite offer, quite happy to finish sorting this out on her own. The mixture was placed to the side as she slipped on her oven gloves. Opening the furnace, the smell flooded the house and she pulled the cookies out. Using her foot to push the furnace door shut, she put the cookies on the countertop, efficiently pouring the mixture you now took to be chocolate on top in different shapes.

After Gem sorted out the final touches, she swiftly made her way over to you, placing the tray on the table. "They should be cool enough to eat, go ahead!" She beamed at you, and you took a cookie without hesitation. Your teeth broke through the crumbly texture, chewing on the cookie in appreciation. It tasted delicious, but there was an ingredient you couldn't quite put your finger on. The chocolate layer on the top was overtaking the other flavours, but the gooey substance captivated you to the point where you didn't really care about the unidentified taste that sat on your tongue a little too long.

"Do you like it?" Gem asked, her hands planted on her thighs as she leaned forward with a glowing, radiant smile. You nodded, putting your fist against your mouth as you swallowed down the now mushy cookie. "It's delicious! You should bake more often Gem." You complimented and she tried her best not to swoon at the way you spoke about her cooking. "Don't worry, I'll bake for you all the time y/n." She said so kindly that the eerie undertone she used was unnoticeable.

As you took more bites of the generous surprise baked good, you found yourself becoming a bit delirious. The odd taste was becoming more noticeable as you got used to the gooey taste of the chocolate. Your eyes seemed misty, clouded over in a weird haze. "Gem, I feel dizzy." You stated simply, your free hand grabbing onto the arm of the couch. You were about to put the rest of the cookie down, this being your second one, but Gem stood up and came to sit beside you. She gently encouraged the now nauseating food towards your mouth, making you bite it again. You chewed awfully slow, hardly aware of what was going on. After swallowing down that mouthful, you tried again to talk to your host. "Gem- I-I think I'm gonna faint." Gem shook her head and placed your head on her shoulder. You appreciated the grounding feeling but it wasn't helping. "You're alright y/n, I'm here. I'm always here." She shushed your attempts to speek again as your head lulled back slightly.

"I'll make you a lovely meal when you wake up, I mean, you like my cooking right?" She giggled as you forcibly drifted off into your dreams. Though you guessed you'd be having nightmares tonight.

The last thing you recalled was the bittersweet taste that lingered in your mouth.
