It had been pure darkness for what felt like months. Raven could do nothing but cry. Cry because her best friend was dead, because she missed her parents and even her little sister. After a while she became numb. The time she spent crying on the floor quickly faded away and she just felt numb.

The pain was still there but if she pushed it down enough it wouldn't get to her.

At first she had hope that her parents would come to her rescue but it quickly depleted and she finally accepted her fate, that she would be stuck in god knows where forever.

She was lying on the ground starring into the darkness when for the first time in a while she saw light.

A bright light casted over the infinite darkness and it came with a shake.

It felt like an earth quake. She had no idea what it did but it couldn't be anything good. She'd been stuck for so long without anything happening that she didn't know if she should believe the 'earth quake' was a good or bad sign.

Once it stopped nothing seemed to happen. It was like nothing happened at all. It was still completely dark and she was still isolated from the rest of the world.

At least that's the case she believed to be in until she heard loud sounds all around her. She quickly shot up for her lying down position and looked around into the rest of the darkness and saw nothing.

She heard something else and turned her head in the direction when she saw a figure walking towards her in the distance.

A spark of hope was reignited in her a she took a leap of faith. She started walking over to the lonely figure.

But once she got close enough she realized it wasn't really alone.

Two other figures were hiding behind its back and were all making their way towards Raven.

Once she saw their faces all hope vanished and her face immediately drops. Fear had made its way throughout her body when she saw the figures faces.

It was a monster.

She made a run for it in the other direction and ran as fast as she could away from the creatures.

She was running for her life.

She'd been alone for so long and the first person she sees isn't a person at all but a monster.

She ran for what felt like hours until she saw someone else.

It was too dark and she assumed it was another monster but when she took and better look she let out a sigh of relief before sprinting over.

"HOPE!"

Hope looked over to where the shout came from and saw who she recognized as the girl from the picture.

Raven.

She didn't know that they knew each other or how.

Raven ran over to her and brought Hope into a big hug. It wasn't returned at first but Hope quickly wrapped her arms around Raven hoping it would comfort her in any way.

After so long on her own she didn't expect her crush to be the first person she met but Raven felt nothing but relief in Hopes arms.

Hope on the other hand didn't remember Raven at all but still felt a small flutter in her heart from the warm hug she received from Raven.

Raven felt pure bliss finally being in someone else's company but remembered why she ran over a pulled out of the hug but still kept her hands on Hopes shoulders.
