'So, you've told your parents about us having our first child yet?' Ron asked.
'I'll tell them tomorrow. You?' Kim replied.
'Yeah. And it was probably a big mistake. (awkward chuckle).'
'Why? They have every right to know they are going to be grand parents.'
Ron then pointed to all the books on the coffee table.
'Whoa. You, didn't buy all of these?'
'They gave them all to me after I told them. And I think I overwhelmed myself trying to read them all of once. There is so much stuff in them about how to be parents, how will I ever be able to remember it all?! Will I even be a good dad? It's too much!'
Rubbing his arm. 'Ron, I am 100% confident you will be a good dad! You don't need a bunch of big books to tell you that! If you want, I'll read through some of them with you. You'll be okay.' Kim said, comforting her husband.
Ron smiled, relieved that his wife had faith in him.
