Chapter 9: Tag Battle! Minerva & Dehya vs. Olivia & Delta

It was currently time for the 4th day of the Grand Magic Games, and everyone was excited to see who would make up the new Fairy Tail team.

Laxus: We need absolute victory today in today's matches. We're all counting on the five of you.

Gajeel: We got it.

Natsu: We'll kick their asses! Right Happy?

Happy: AYE SIR!!!

As they made their way to the arena, Delta caught a glimpse of a woman wearing a black cloak walking by. But he could see the familiar white hair, the blue eyes and that loving smile that was focused on him for a brief shining moment. As he turned to look at her, she disappeared into the crowd of people and he took off after her.

Delta: *runs after her* Mother!

Olivia: Mother?

Erza: Where's he going? The games are about to start!

Olivia: I think he saw his mother and he's trying to go after her. But...that should be impossible because he said....

Meanwhile, Delta is still running through the crowd while searching for the cloaked woman. After a few minutes of searching, he eventually gives up and sadly makes his way towards the arena. But one thing was for certain, he was sure that the cloaked woman was his mother. Before he made it back though, he ended up running into Beidou and Ningguang.

Beidou: Yo!

Delta: Bei? Ningguang? What are you doing here?

Ningguang: We came to watch the games in person. I gave everyone the day off and we decided to come support you in person.

Beidou: We watched you kick ass yesterday and were hoping that you do it today.

Delta: I see...

Ningguang: Alright what's wrong?

Delta: It's nothing...

Beidou: We've known you for years. So we notice when something is wrong. Now spill it.

Delta: *sighs* I-I saw my mother. I recognized her white hair and those blue eyes. I ran after her but she vanished into the crowd. Now I'm making my way back to the arena.

Ningguang: We'll accompany you, since we are heading that way as well.

Delta: Thanks.

Delta: No. Please just...leave me alone for a while.

Olivia: Either way, the matches have been determined to be tag team battles today. And you actually missed the event but Minerva won.

Delta: She was there...I know I saw her familiar white hair and those icy-blue eyes.

Olivia: I hate seeing him like this. Maybe after the day is over we can try looking for her again?

Delta: I-It's ok. I think I'll just take it easy.

Chapati: LET'S GET ON WITH THE NEXT MATCH! FROM SABERTOOTH, WE HAVE STING EUCLIFFE AND ROGUE CHENEY! FACING OFF AGAINST FAIRY TAIL'S NATSU DRAGNEEL AND GAJEEL REDFOX!!!

Gajeel: Salamander, let's go!

Happy: Be careful Natsu.

*time-skip after the fight*

After the fight was over, Fairy Tail all cheered as Sabertooth was rioting over their loss.
