SINFUL ATTRACTION

CHAPTER 4

PRESENT DAY

Looks like my plan didn't actually go through with the original plan. I vowed to be the bad guy this time and opt not to go pick Luke up at the terminal hoping he'd get lost, bored and go back to where he crawled from.

But here he is. 

As a matter of FACT, with Alicia. Our eyes meet for a moment and the awkward silence is quite something. Jake spares a glance at Alicia. I'm surprised how calm he is, but I scratch my thought when his eyes moves from Alicia to me instantly.

"Alicia." That's Liv who wastes no time in embracing her as we all watch them share a a moment or so.

"Jake. It's been a while." That's Luke happily walking towards Jake with open arms who as expected ignores him.

"It should remain that way." Jake says lightly.

"Jake." Alicia turns to my brother. "Can we talk? Please."

"Are you talking to me? I think you're referring to him." Jake points at me. "If I'm not mistaken, you two were sleeping together on quite several occasions. Am I wrong brother?" He adds and I remain silent.

"Hey everyone meet my useless brother and my ex-girlfriend who were sleeping together behind my back."His voice by now is quite loud and everyone is glancing in our direction.

"Jake please you're causing a scene." That's Liv.

"And you, I'm quite disappointed by your choice of..." He pauses for a second and points at Martin, "...whoever that is."

I expect Martin to shut his mouth considering we both know how Jake is but, I am wrong.

"If you have something against me say it." That's Martin walking right straight to Jake and they have a face-off. It takes one sweep and Martin is on the floor, Jake's right hand holding him by the collar of shirt firmly.

"I hate you filthy piece of shit. You are no good for my sister and you know why. If you ever break her miserable attention seeking heart, I'll be the happiest person alive because she will know better that I was right!"

Luke shoves Jake off Martin, helping him up. Liv on the other hand is almost crying.

She is now.

"I hate you Jake. I hate you!" She flat out says to him. 

I know better to not get in the way of my siblings fight.

"Alex?" That's one familiar voice but turning around it's the same girl that showed up at my doorstep last night.

What's with today,  everyone is showing up unexpectedly. Her attention fixated on Jake.

"His name is Jake. His asshole of a personality failed to mention that." I say with a smile.

"Can't you stand a one night stand?" And with that he's served one hell of a slap.

Yeey! Go girl.

"That's one weak slap. Still tired from our encounter?" Jake says and this time he's quick to catch her hand before another slap.

"Ash." Liv calls out and when did they become acquaintances?

"He's not worth it." Liv adds wiping off her tears. Jake as usual being the asshole that he is, walks away. Man, I feel sorry for Liv but on the other hand I have to side with Jake.

Martin walks away with Liv and Ash as I head to the parking lot with Luke following me from behind.

"Don't you have any other place to be?" I turn to him.
