"Happy birthday Ken!" His mother and father exclaimed.
"Huh??" Ken jolted out of bed. "Oh, right, it's my birthday."
"After school we have a party planned for you!" His mom announced.
"Yes, all your friends are coming." His father said.
"Thanks, now get out!" Ken said. "I got to get ready!"
"Okay!" His mom giggled, grabbing his father's arm as they both walk out of Ken's room.
Ken closes the door and opens his dresser. It was a chilly day in October, so he picked out a red sweater with his high school's name on it in yellow, a white collared button up to go underneath, and some light blue jeans. He put everything on his scrawny body. He grabbed some white socks and some red sneakers to finish off his outfit.
He stood up and looked at himself in the mirror as he brushed his hair. He had ivory skin with soft facial features. His hair was short, fluffy, and a light brown. His face was covered in minimal acne with a lot of freckles. His eyes were a grey blue, with short, thick, eyelashes.
Ken finished brushing his hair and walked downstairs to the kitchen. His mom had prepared a large amount of food.
On the counter in front of him, there were waffles with ungodly amounts of syrup, many pieces of crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, orange slices, and orange juice. His mom was preparing a plate with a little bit of everything on it.
"What's all this for?" Ken asked.
"Well, it's your eighteenth birthday, I thought I would spoil you a bit." His mom smiled.
"Aw, thanks mom." Ken said before giving her a hug.
"I can't believe my baby is all grown up!" She squeezed him before letting go. "You should eat before your bus gets here."
"Alright!" Ken said excitedly before sitting down at a bar stool in front of the counter and munching down on his breakfast.

6:45 a.m.
Ken gasped; the bus would be here at any moment.
He quickly grabbed his red backpack and rushed out the door.
"Bye honey!" His mom shouted waving through the door before closing it.
"Bye!" Ken shouted while running to his bus stop.

"Does anyone know the question to number six?" Mr. Hardcok asked.
Ken quickly raised his hand.
Mr. Hardcok glanced at him.
"Anyone? Someone?" He kept asking.
Ken still had his hand raised.
"Yes, Ken?" Hardcok said reluctantly.
"89." Ken said with utmost confidence.
"Yes." Hardcok carried on with teaching.
"Teacher's pet." Scoffed a student in the back.
That student was Harold.
He was tall, a bit chubby, and pale. He had straight mid length blonde hair with brown roots. He had sharp facial features with a crooked nose. His eyes were hazel and he had square glasses with black frames. He had many piercings. Seven on his ears, two on his lips, a septum, and a tongue piercing. All of which were either black or silver.
