"I don't get it!" Hiccup exclaimed. "How did Viggo get away? How did we lose Heather, Windshear and the Flightmare?" They had lost. Viggo had simply vanished along with everyone they had hoped to return.

The pain in Hiccups shoulder had only gotten worse, and the stress of losing his friends certainly wasn't helping. But he was too angry to care, how could they have been deceived so easily?

"I don't even want to think about what they're going to do to her, and those dragons." Astrid added, placing her hand on Hiccups upper back to encourage him to sit down. She wordlessly sat down in front of him, not before taking a roll of bandages from her Nadder's satchel. "Pull down your shirt, I'm taking this arrow out."

Hiccup sighed and reluctantly revealed the wound, the ache weighing him down as he collapsed to the floor.

"This is gonna hurt a little..."Astrid warned, preparing to remove the protruding arrow.

Hiccup just scoffed, funny how she had definitely under played the agony he was about to feel. Just as he braced himself for the pain, the sound of wings approaching made Hiccup look to the sky. "You guys find anything?" He asked Fishlegs and the twins, who were back from scouting the area for any sign of Viggo's whereabouts.

"Of Viggo?" Fishlegs began, "No. The fog was too thick, they used it as cover and just-"

At that moment, Astrid pulled the arrow out of Hiccups arm making him cry out, cutting Fishlegs off. Hiccup gave the girl a stern look after he recovered. To which she gave him sheepish look.

"-Vanished" Fishlegs finished.

"Shit." Hiccup grunted as Astrid finished off patching him up, "Well I guess we should regroup and-"

"Hiccup!" Snotlout shouted as he land on deck and quickly dismounted his dragon.

"What- what is it? Did you find something?" Hiccup rushed out, standing and walking to his friend, meeting him halfway.

"Not something. Someone."

Urszula was still dreaming. Blissfully unaware of what was to come. Until the sound of chatter was slowly making its way into her ears and she was rudely pulled out of her slumber

"Wow. I thought you were joking, you really did find a someone." A girls voice came through.

"Is she dead?" A male voice this time. Urszula's eyes were still closed, her cheek pressed to the mast as her body caught up with her brain.

"Looks like it." A female voice, deeper than the last "Why don't you find out bro?"

The sound of heavy footsteps began to approach her, this certainly woke Urszula up. She kept her eyes shut, while slowly moving her hand resting on her leg, down to her ankle, where she grabbed the dagger in her boot.

"Hello pretty lady, you dead or just sleeping?" The man's voice inquired. She felt the heat of his body as he crouched down to her level, she definitely smelt him as well. Urszula squinted to see the boys hand reaching to touch her shoulder. The action stirred her to full consciousness, the girl snatched his approaching limb with her vice grip. She skilfully twisted his arm making the unsuspecting viking cry out and say "Oww! Okay not dead, definitely not dead!"

This gave Urszula the opening she needed to reveal her blade and hold it to her attacker's throat. She observed that the boy had long, wiry hair even for a viking, and she couldn't miss his extensive amount of chin. Urszula's eyes left the startled boy and looked ahead. There stood the dragon riders, the very vikings her father had been obsessed with once he learned they had the Dragon Eye.

The Dragon Eye. Why is it so important to Viggo? Why is it worth going to war for?

"It's you." An angry voice this time. She nonchalantly watched the leader of the dragon and riders jump off his dragon and walk towards them like he owned the fucking world. Hiccup looked the same as their last encounter, like a born leader; except more pissed due to her presence no doubt.

Urszula yanked the straggly boy closer, she pressed his back to her front and pulled him into a headlock, the dagger still very much to his throat. She wasn't stupid, there was no way the girl could fight her way out of this. She was clearly outnumbered six to one, and that didn't even include the fire breathing monsters that that stood behind their riders, the Zippleback looking particularly vicious at the moment.

"No closer." She threatened, her voice still raspy from sleep. Hiccup stopped dead in his tracks, instantly understanding the implications of moving. Ursa eyed the dragon master's shoulder, it had bandage around it, but whoever did it must have been an idiot because blood had already soaked through the flimsy material.

A small smile danced upon the girls lips. "Ooo that look nasty." Her eyes moving from the boys face to his injured shoulder. Hiccup simply glanced at her so she continued, "You know, you should really treat properly or it's gonna get infected."

Again, he made no move to reply. Flashbacks of their last interaction played through her mind. Instead he spoke, "You knew. You knew Heather was a spy and that Viggo knew too." He moved half a step closer, the other riders watching warily. "You warned me about it on that ship. Why?"

Urszula's disliked like his line of questioning. She didn't know what to say because honestly, she didn't know the answers herself. The girl decided to play defensive.

"I've got no idea what you talking about." She lied beautifully. "All I know is that one minute I was fighting you guys with Ryker and Fath-" Urszula stopped. The events before she passed out came crashing back. She was alone, on an abandoned hunter ship, surrounded by the dragon riders. Panicked, she simply repeated "I don't know what your talking about."

Hiccup just continued to stare at her and she unashamedly stared back. Urszula had no plan, no way of getting off this shipwrecked boat but there was no way on this flat earth that she was going to let the dragon riders take her anywhere.

Their stare off was interrupted by the girl with blonde hair snatching the dagger out of Urszula's hand while her guard was lowered and holding to her neck. The viking pushed the straggly boy to the side and he landed on the deck with a dramatic thud. "Enough of this!" She stressed, "Where's Heather? Where have they taken her?"

Urszula looked at her blankly "I dunno lady, Thor Almighty."

The girls eyes searched her face, looking for any hint of a lie. She clearly didn't look hard enough as she took the knife off Urszula's throat and cowered in on herself. "We should have just pulled Heather out Hiccup, I knew something like this was-"

"Astrid", Hiccup butted in, placing a hand on her shoulder, "She wouldn't have come with us."

Astrid huh. Urszula thought as she eyed the pair. Ursa didn't like her the most, mainly because she was holding her knife in left hand.

"It could be worse," the viking who's neck was on the line thirty seconds ago spoke up, "We could have bought the Dragon Eye... Ow!" He exclaimed as the female version of him elbowed him in the arm.

"Not in front of" Hiccup rushed out. He dragged the two towards him and they continued their conversation, Hiccup looking confused and the others looking sheepish.

Urszula could do nothing but watch them, after all she had no where to run. But the mention of the Dragon Eye had peaked her interest. It was a long shot, but if she could get her hands on it, maybe she could use whatever is so important about to buy her freedom from her Father. But then again, she still had no idea what was so important about the Dragon Eye anyway.

The riders suddenly dispersed and began to mount their respective dragons while Hiccup approached her. "You're coming with me." He demanded, grabbing her wrist and pulling towards Toothless. Without letting go, he got on the Nightfury and then hoisted Urszula up so she sat behind him.

For once, Urszula stayed quiet, too overwhelmed by the fact she was about to ride a dragon. Not only that but she realised her best chance at freedom right now was to go to wherever the riders were taking her and conform a plan from there.

As Toothless ascended, Urszula slowed her breathing and tried to empty her mind of all thoughts of the past. No matter what happened, she was determined to get away from this war and more importantly, away from her Father.
