Parallels (or some form of them)

A lot of these parallels come from Season 1, specifically Episodes 22, 26(somewhat vague, but its there), and the Season Finale

Starting with Episode 22 "GHOSTLY MURDER!", while Funneh, Gold, Alec, and Kyran look for a bottle, the 4 of them stumbled upon a room dedicated to a lady named Bella from her supposed "lover"

In a way, it's kind of like a parallel to Yandere-chan/Yumi and Senpai/Kai, but unlike Bella's "lover", Yumi isn't vocal about her 'love' for Kai, only having a shrine of him in her house

Until Season 2, Episode 13, she professes to him that they'd be together forever in Deathcon. (yes i know the christmas parody exists but it was in her dream)

Moving on, during Season 1, Episode 26 "FIRST DATE AT THE MOVIES!", there was a back-and-forth between Kyran and Alec about "Kimiko's Journey"(a story about a girl chosen by the gods in order to save humanity from extinction) after "DEAD" and its obstacle course(?)

This kind of foreshadows Alec's motives on why he works as Yumi's accomplice,
a form of sacrifice for others over himself (in Alec's case, his family)

Lastly, in the Season Finale "ONE LAST KISS!", during the bonfire stories scene, the girl who told the story about a murderer named Ruby and her accomplice Amber. The parallel is a bit on the nose with Ruby being a parallel to Yandere-chan/Yumi(of course), and the accomplice Amber could be any of Yumi's accomplices(Alec, Elijah, or Celeste)

Idk if there were more parallels to stories and the YHS storyline in Season 2 since I'm still watching early Season 2 while writing this

(also i'm sorry if it feels all over the place but i went with typing it on the spot with a few breaks)
