〰️ Eddie's Pov 〰️

     Everything was rushed today. Some aunts I apparently had came to town and were sitting on the couch talking to each other while I was getting ready. They were annoyingly chatty, but glad they were here. I don't know any extended family, my father and mother weren't really... present. 

     I called Chrissy to make sure she was alive and breathing considering she hadn't called me first. She was the one to call first usually, so it was a surprise. Her sister answered the phone with a polite hello and said to hold. I heard Chrissy's giggle from a mile away and she answered. 

     " Hello?" She asks and I smile. I don't know whose more excited, me or her. 

     " Hey my love. Are you almost ready?" I reply. She squeals on the other end of the phone and I hear Mrs. Cunningham shush her. 

     " I am so ready! I did all of the decorations myself and it is so pretty! I made it so special just for you, I know you've been working so hard!" She almost squeals again, but refrains. 

     I chuckle before I say, " Well at least you didn't get held back a few years. But hey, its your big moment too love."

     For a moment I hear her laugh but it was cut off, probably another call on the line. 

     " Oh, hold on. I'm getting another call. I'll call you, or ya know, just see you at graduation!" She then hangs up and I'm left wondering who was calling. I'm sure her house is busy though, so I'm not worried about it. We had a small graduating class at Hawkins, so I'm not to scared about the crowds. No, I'm more scared about Chrissy. Her stalker is still out there, and graduation is a public event. I have a weird feeling, but I keep pushing it down. I'm sure Billy will be there, I surely will, and my Uncle. So if anything were to happen, we could take care of it. 

     I get off the phone and head to the bedroom, my aunties raving about my posture and handsomeness. I will admit, it has its perks to have a females feedback, aside from my uncle's tough love. I go and get my uncle's old suit on, and put on my cap and gown. I walk out as my aunties cooed at me. 

     " Oh Wayne, you raised such a fine young man, I'm so glad." They came up to me and helped me fix my hair, after all, they knew more about the family curls than I did. I laughed with them and my uncle walked out, smiling. 

     " There's the first boy in our family to graduate!" He jokes and my aunties scowl. 

     " That's just because you all didn't keep your heads in the game." June (the smaller of the two) said. My uncle laughed and put the phone on call to his own new personal cell phone. 

     " Let's go. We have no time to waste!" Jane says. My uncle and I get in his truck and my aunts get in their own car. 

     And we make our way to the final adventure.

〰️ Chrissy's Pov 〰️

     I had gotten a call from Billy, saying he was gonna be my personal bodyguard for today, minus being around me 24/7 part. I agree to his terms and let out an excited squeal, and again being reprimanded by my mother. I run upstairs and get my cap and gown. 

     " I'm ready to go!" I yell from upstairs. I swiftly go downstairs and get my keys, all of us are driving our own cars, since I may go to Eddie's after. Everyone whoops and we get out and start to drive to Hawkins.

     Stadium parking wasn't jam packed yet, so I got a good spot. Wayne's truck is here, so I head into the stadium. 

     It was fairly nice outside, and families were already seated or taking pictures by the front gates. I smile when I see Wayne and the people I assume is Eddie's family. I wave to them and smile. The women immediately run up to me.

     " This is the girl our dear Eddie  has been talking about? My, my he sure knows the good ones. Hello sweetie, m name is June."

     " And I'm Jane," The taller one sticks a hand out to me, " Pleasure to meet you dear, Eddie would not stop talking about you."

     " Well it's a pleasure to meet you both also! And I can't believe him! Next time he does, tell him to be quiet." I politely take my hand back and hug Wayne sideways. 

     " It's a big night! You should head inside and find your seat, and I brought you this," Wayne begins to rummage through his pocket, and I begin to wonder what he could possibly have.

     He pulls out a necklace and my eyes brighten. No way. 

     " It was my mothers when she was alive. These two," He gestures at the two women behind him, " Didn't really appreciate the piece but I thought you would." He unclasps the beautiful necklace and puts it on my neck. 

     It was beautiful. There was no other word about it. To describe it. Just looking at it almost made me tear up. It was a flower, made by gems. The outlying gems were purple, and the inside was a small white crystal. 

     " I just wanted to give you this. Because no matter what, even if you and Eddie don't last, I will still call you family. You know where I live, and my telephone number, so don't hesitate if you need something. Even if it's a bum off my cigarette." He whispers the last part, and winks at me. 

     I was lost for words besides ' thank you, thank you'. I hugged him tight and didn't want to cry but there was no avail. 

     Wayne was like a second father to me. I'm so glad to have him. 

〰️ Hi lovlies!!! sorry I haven't been active, just been in my feels, but I'm out now! Anyway, here's a chapter less about the two star-struck lovers, and more about her relationships. As always the plot thickens, so don't worry :)〰️
