Murda lays bloody and shirtless on an operation table. The pain from the hole of fire made in his side has spread from his right lower abdomen, to his back. He felt like he was laying on hell's fire pit. Never in his life, has he not been able to process a thought. He's been an over thinker his entire life. A million thoughts swarm his brain a million and one times a day, good, bad, heaven and hell. But in this moment, it all went blank. His eyes get heavy again, and each breath feels more and more like an anchor sinking ship. For a second, he stops fighting it. 𝘡𝘈𝘗

Murda no longer sees the gloomy hospital room, but rather a empty, never ending space of black. If he could get himself to talk right now, he'd definitely be saying "𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠?" It reminded him of the dark supply closet he would steal minutes in, when he was "inside." many would call this darkness hell, but in a life full of hells, that closet became heaven. Nothing feels real, and in the moment, he can't trust his own judgement. He knew he wasn't gone, at least not all the way. He could still feel the pressure of a defibrillator pressing up and down on his chest. All his notions of life and death that slipped away from him just moments ago, came rushing back. He must be 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 his 27th thought.

A heavenly figure of a man, with chocolate brown hair and beard dressed in a combo of red, green and white stands before him. It's Teak. He wears the 𝘓𝘪𝘭 𝘔𝘶𝘳𝘥𝘢 chain, Murda once placed in his casket, around his neck. and the green bandana woddy tied wrapped around his head "𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠...𝙄 𝙜𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙄 𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙧 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙡𝙡."

"𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙙." Murda says shakily.

"𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙪𝙝—𝙄 𝙖𝙞𝙣'𝙩 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙞'𝙙 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣" Murda lets out.

"𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚, 𝙄 𝙖𝙞𝙣'𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙚𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧." Teak replies guiltily, attempting to avoid the tears that were bound to come on his end. "𝙄 𝙖𝙞𝙣'𝙩 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙚𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙚𝙚 𝙢𝙚." He steps closer to his former love. Murda wanted to be angry at Teak, but he also wanted the pain to stop. He figured it'd stop faster if he'd accept that the anger won't fix the fact that he's gone. it's clear Teak doesn't regret what he did, but rather how he did it. He loves Murda, and he knew Murda loved him, but Teak knew 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 he wanted, 𝘩𝘰𝘸 he wanted and how 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 he wanted it for. His only regret, was hurting Murda in the midst of getting those things. "𝙄 𝙨𝙚𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩...𝙨𝙪𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙤𝙛." teak says with a smile. They share a laugh before Murda looks to Teak with guilt in his eyes, letting them trail back to the ground. "𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙝." Teak stops him "𝙉𝙖𝙬, 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙙𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩." He snatches his nose. "𝘼𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚, 𝙞'𝙢 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪—𝙄'𝙢 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪" "𝙄𝙛 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙮 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙨𝙪𝙣, 𝙞𝙩'𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙪𝙝." he adds.

They lock eyes. "𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙞𝙛 𝙞𝙩'𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙗𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚, 𝙞𝙩'𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪...𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙪𝙝" Murda argues.

"𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙪𝙝 𝙄 𝙖𝙞𝙣'𝙩." Teak snaps back. "𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙩'𝙨 𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙪𝙥, 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙪𝙥 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙈𝙪𝙧𝙙𝙖... 𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨𝙣'𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙪𝙡𝙩." Teak pleas "𝙈𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚, 𝙞𝙨𝙣'𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙪𝙡𝙩. 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩'𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙄 𝙠𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩' 𝙈𝙮 𝙢𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙖— 𝙞𝙩'𝙨 𝙖 𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙪𝙨. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙪𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣, 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙩𝙤𝙤. 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩'𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙮 𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩'𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙚 𝙇𝙖𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙨, 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪."

These are words Murda didn't know he needed to hear. Every part of him ached, over Teak no longer being there but he understood that his words were true, and there was nothing he could've done or said to save his first love. His heart swells, and he can't tell if it's from the overwhelming feelings making their way back to the forefront after years in hiding or the doctors goin' ham with that defibrillator. Maybe it was a mix of both. "𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙠.." he cries. Teak answers with his eyes. Murda wanted to tell him that Teak was just as much of a light to him as Teak felt Murda was, but from what Teak has told him in this moment, he already knew that. He settled for some other unspoken words instead. "𝙄 𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪." he says. Teak's face softens, melts almost. This Teak also knew, but boy did he need to hear it out loud, and God, did Murda need to say it. "𝙄 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬, 𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙮 𝙗𝙬𝙤𝙮." he grins softly with tears in his eyes.
