The first time we went out, we kissed and truly locked eyes: Our hearts intertwine, fates and futures seemed to cross. Prepositioned in my mind... we reached our first speed bump, cross road, Milestone and we are still in the same car, my friends were quite perplexed to find that no one was left behind. A hopeless Romantic she called me, my teacher that is. After countless poems and stories written seemingly creating an anthology of my failed heartships, she saw right through me. "You" in the passenger seat, I hope our story does not follow
I caught her eye then looked away as if it never happened, but seeing her, seeing me... had the amphetamines in my system convincing me that we were off the edge, soaring through the sky And she just kept staring at the sun, blinded by the thought of us. Knowing that this could never be everything she thought it would. It did not stop her... she just kept staring at the sun.
