CHAPTER 1 The voices of nature. The wind whispers my name "go before its to late!" but i have to find her i MUST find her. I sprint down the hill as my Abuela chases me. "MI AMOR VUELVE" she screams at the top of her lungs. But i cant, I just cant. She needs me, I cant leave her like this.
My name is Silvio Mandes and im a 17 year old boy from long ago. I Know what your thinking "if your from long ago, how are you still alive?" The thing is, i don't know at all why, But im looking for answers. My abuela lives with my mamá and my dos hermanitas. My Abuelo died 7 years ago when i was 10, and gave his will to his hija, and ever since she has been living with us! Its kind of fun having your abuela live with you. You get out of trouble more. and plus her tamales are SOOO GOOOD! everytime i get a taste of that sweety goodness, i feel like im in heaven! I love tamales. anways back to the story. The birds sings a song as i wake up. I smell the smell of Tetelas, Huevos Rancheros, and some Mexican Scrambled Eggs.

hen i am done with my breakfast, i go to get ready for the day. i take off my pijama and get into the shower. when im done, i get out and dry off my body. Then put on some clothes. Then i go downstairs and get my jacket and my mochila filled with stuff to keep me warm and entertained. i head off to my Casa de amigos (friends house). his other friend dont like me but he always stands up for me. " Hey mexican boy! how was your 1st grade homework last night?" said bill. they know that im not good at all with reading english, they tease me about it everyday! "did your mommy need to help you?" they laugh. She did help me, but i didnt want to tell them that! they would make fun of me even more! " no she didn't." i said, My first time standing up for my self! "well thats a first" said the boys as they walk away laughing. Just as they turn the corner, Yazmine Ramo comes Sprinting at me. i tried to run away, but she catched up to me. "Why are you running away?" Just then, the bell rings "saved by the bell" i think in my head. We get to class and we sit down in our seats. "you're looking cute today Silvio" whispered Yasmine. "thanks...." i said. i dont like her at all but she has a big crush on me. She started stroking my hair, But then the teacher saw that i was uncomfortarble with it "Yazmine, stop touching Silvios hair!" said the teacher. everyone looked at me like i did something wrong but SHE was the one touching my hair without my consent! 4 minutes later class was over with and it was time for lunch.
