I felt their connection again... the Red Strings had reawakened, wanting me to return to them... follow them again, and save something doomed from prior events...

But that connection only lived for a moment... until I had awoken.

I shot up from my bed, in my apartment, in the Lunar City... I was upheld as a hero to most, as I had slain the Others that had tormented this colony for a long time... I was still wearing my Esper jumpsuit, though I rarely needed it for anything... it was just what seemed like a requirement to wear it for me. After all, I was their savior.

I slowly got out of bed, looking to the bed sheets as they soon glowed purple, and watching them slowly make themselves until the bed looked like I'd never slept in it. I sighed and walked to a nearby mirror, staring myself in the face... my white hair, my red eyes, the suit I wore, black and red with orange lines connecting at points, and then landing on the hair clip I wore and growing a little sad...

Me: "It still haunts me... even after all those months..."

Naomi... my dear sister... why did that have to happen to you? Why did that bastard take you instead of me...?

I stared for a moment, still somber as I looked in the mirror, before looking away with a grimace. My stomach decided to make itself known with a grumble. So of course, what could I do but appease it?

I walked over to the kitchen, looking to the fridge to see what could be in there to cook, and landing on some eggs and tortillas, and nodding before grabbing them, getting to work on cooking.

And several minutes later, after throwing in some peppers and other vegetables in with my eggs, I had breakfast burritos that I took in rather quickly. Having finished, I sighed and decided to leave my apartment, walking by the buildings of the colony and breathing in the lunar air... until I felt them again, and again... until the Strings took me away.

I was watching multiple clouds of different events now, of a darkened world with humans that had gone into anarchy and disarray, to a set of four colored fires fizzling out, and a group of many people with darkened faces smiling around a table, with one woman in the center laughing evilly... until everything faded to black...

Now I was back... somewhere... I wasn't on the moon anymore. In fact, it seemed like I was in a totally different place.

Me: "What... where am I?!"

I was in a dark area, soon going on high alert and looking around to gather my senses, though it seemed like it was during a time of night. In a city.

Me: "Wha... the hell just happened to me?"

I look around for a second before I decided to find a way up, climbing some objects to a nearby ladder and climbing to a rooftop of a building.

Me: "Huh... I guess that's something... alright, Kasane... time to fully riddle this out."
