WHERE IT BEGINS

Music is like a person who shows your emotional attraction. Even physically when you're working out or playing a physical sport. Emotional attraction, some music gives you sadness, some music gives you happiness. Some music gives you love for your family, boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife. But mostly it depends on what you listen to.

in a peaceful coffee place called "Café Mi Amor "where you see lots of business workers, People studying, couples having a good chat with one another. a likable place where I can drink my rise of almond milk coffee and simmer down a song called "easily " by Bruno Major. It jumps in the mood while I take my first sip of my almond milk coffee. I close my eyes for a little minute to take a breath and open my eyes and see people smiling and giggling. I find it more interesting. But in the corner of my right eye I see a glare of a woman outside of the window, walking towards the glass door. She gently opens the door and walks inside. I don't know if this is heaven but she is really beautiful. I put my cup down and reach my bag to bring out my computer and my earphones. I turn my computer on to finish my poetry, "like a thief she could only love stolen hearts" I stop right there to think about more and then I saw the women again sitting there looking at the view of the streets. I stare at her for a second and I look back at my computer "but why does the thief desire stolen hearts, why not golds and crystals ?" I stand there thinking deep in my thoughts of the quotes. I felt a tap on my right shoulder. I turned to the direction and my friend Miguel smiled at me and sat next to me. "Sokoya! So I got a date with that chick in our cooking class and I was wondering if you could lend me your keys to the apartment" I gave him the keys and told him that he has to clean after he shows off his skills. Miguel is the best friend I had since we was high school years. We were like Archie and Jughead from the comics but without Betty and Veronica because we both are single. Now he is my roommate in college now. "Sorry I left my keys in my gym bag when I was taking a shower" Miguel replied with a big smile. I turn my head to look at the women for a minute, Miguel looks at Sokoya and turn to see the direction he is looking at. The woman looks away from the view and turns to see the waiter dropping her coffee. She grabs her spoon and starts to stir her coffee "She looks lovely dude why don't you go talk to her?" said Miguel, I turned away and looked at my laptop "I will okay just go have fun" I replied with a nervous feeling. Miguel gets up from the chair and starts to walk away with a smile. I closed my laptop and started to put away my things, and finish my last sip of my drink. I look back to see her and the moment I turn , our eyes connect in each other's direction. My heart started to pound as I saw her smile at me, I smiled back and gave her a small wave. I started to walk but my empty cup and my things dropped on the ground. I bend down to pick it up. The women received a text, started to get up and power walked out of the door. Leaving her coffee and her black long sleeve dolman cardigan. I got up and saw her disappear on the spot I looked around and there was no appearance of her. "She ran outside of the door and she left her cardigan on the chair" one of the waitresses spoke to me. I grabbed the cardigan and ran outside of the door to see if she was still there but there was still no sign of her appearance. I raised the cardigan and looked at it, the rain started to pour. I folded the cardigan and put it in my bag then I started to walk back to my house. As I arrived at my apartment I saw a paper on my door saying "come back to later , currently busy" . I started to get frustrated and went down to the lobby of my apartment. I pull up my phone and call my friend Shell to see if she is free to hang out. I called her and she picked up "Wassup buttercup?" she answered ''I look at my phone with the face of a what just happened " Nothing much Miguel is busy with the women in our apartment but hey wanna grab something to eat at the Korean BBQ? My treat" I answered. Shell's voice went a little high when she agreed "great! I'm with my roommate Maria so we can meet you there in 20 minutes ?" said Shell. I agreed and told her I'll be there. I grab my bag and head over there. The Korean BBQ place was uncrowded and the music was one of the K-pop music from the early 2000's. I sat down on a double side seat and saw a table in front of me had a cooking stove in the middle of the table. I grab the cardigan and remember the incident earlier about the women in Café Mi Amor place. I can't stop thinking about it until a familiar voice calls me behind my back "hey Sokoya" I turn around and see Shell and Maria walking toward the table where I sat, they sat down on the other side of the table. "Guess who's getting married next week?" said Maria with excitement. "Who.. you ?" I replied. Maria gave me a what the hell face "no it's Princess and Marcus wedding next week Friday" I forgot about their wedding , i got so caught up on assignments and forgot about what happening around me.

"What up with you, I haven't talked to you since the Pandemic happened" Shell asked. "I've been watching movies and TV shows with Miguel and earlier there was this woman I saw, " I answered her question. The waitress came and dropped the cup of water to us and asked us what we wanted to order. "Can we get some Bulgogi and Dwaeji bulgogi with kimchi on the side and a three bowl of rice please?" I answered. The waitress took our order and walked to the kitchen to grab the order. Shell looks at me and asks "I know it's not my business what happened to Kimberly I thought you guys were together?" I raised my cup of water, took a sip and put it down on the table. "Maybe next time" I grin, Shell and Maria look at the way I react to it "I respect that, but I'm glad you're doing good though" said Shell. The waitress came with our order

We grabbed our order and started cooking the meat and started eating. A few hours later we went outside of the restaurant and got some air. Shell tap on my arm "just letting you know we are here for you and I hope you find the mysterious women from the Café" I look at my phone and saw a text from Miguel that he is done "I should be going Miguel date just left" Shell and Maria gave me a goodbye hug and wave to me while they walking away "let me know more about it at Princess and Marcus wedding and make sure you bring a date" said Maria. I walk in the other direction and think about the incident about me and Kimberly, I walk with a small tear in my eye.
