Knocking on heaven's door
But no-one seems to hear
Shouting and calling out
"Is there anybody here?"
There's a door without a keyhole
And I can't go under, over or round
So I try to break it down
But all my attacks rebound
I think there's someone listening
But they won't let me in
While beyond this door is a place
That holds my dreams within
People are drawing near now
But they won't look me in the eye
They stand with their backs to me
None see the tears I cry
I'll never be let in
So I won't try any more
