It rang the third time in a row, making my eyes travel to it from the book I was reading.

I stared at it waiting for it to end.

Sitting on bed, with your legs crossed and a book in your hand, with coffee on the side table, will make you the laziest soul ever, as it made me.

So lazy that I can't even walk a few metres away towards my charger hanging in front of me on my study and phone plugged to it.

Who would it be calling me right now?

I wondered and looked at the clock hanging on the wall, it's 8 p.m.

It could be the company or something, coz no one else calls me -

But it was the third time -

No what if it's something urgent,

I sighed and pushed myself up, keeping my book titled "Without merit" aside.

I hate disturbance during reading.

I picked up my phone and swiped to the green button bringing phone near my ear,

I waited for the caller to say something.

"Hello"the voice from the other side sent millions of butterflies in my stomach, something in my chest stirred and my heartbeat accelerated.

I found myself dizzy, so I hugged myself, wrapping my one arm against my stomach.

I bit my lip

"Hello…who is this?"I asked in a soft low voice.

I heard him sigh, as he took a deep breath"hey it's manik"
