There was a little lamb, in a very dark and small alley.
The little lamb doesn't know what it will do. The lamb became a monster..which everyone is afraid of.
I was the lamb.
I woke up on a hospital, I feel a little dizzy. Is it because I slept too much? Why am I here? I need the answers on these questions. "..Why..am..I..here..?" I whispered to no one, I keep on trying to sit up but my body is too heavy. I can't even move my head nor my fingers.
Little by little, I remembered what happened last night.
I was attacked by a ghoul. I fainted because it bit me right on the shoulder and started to make some hole into my body when I was half unconcious, I heared some poles coming down right on the ghoul who attacked me.
"[Last Name]-san!" The nurse came into my room. I quickly covered myself with the blanket, "[Last Name]-san..it's time for you to eat. I'll leave the food here."
When the nurse was gone, I sat up and started to eat my lunch but..It tastes bad. The soup tastes like mud. The fish tastes like sponge.
...What's wrong with my tongue?
"Huh? They all tastes bad." I said, The Doctor came into my hospital room and said, "[Name]-chan, do you feel alright?"
"Yes, I do." I nodded and smiled, "Then, Shall i allow you to go home?" He said, "Sure."
I was a bit ready to go home, I have no siblings at home so it's okay. I'm living by myself since I told my parents that I can live by myself.
Can I live by myself this time?
I waved at the nurses and my doctor, then I saw him grin.
Did he do something wrong to me?
When I was walking, I went to an alleyway and suddenly, a ghoul attacked me from behind. I was pushed onto the wall, but after that. The ghoul didn't attacked me anymore.
A guy with blue hair came to save me and said, "Oi, watch where you're going."
"T-thank you, mister!" I stammered.
He clicked his tongue, An angry vein popped out of my head and walked away from him. He's so rude! That's not how you treat ladies! Agh!
When I came home, I saw a plastic bag on my apartment's knob. There was a card, it said:
Yo, [Name]! I heared you're out of the hospital! I'm sorry, I couldn't come. I was busy, because I'm studying- You know, I'm a nerd! Anyways, I'm just here for you when you need someone to comfort or to be with you! I miss you!

"Mari-chan.." I whispered, and took the plastic bag inside my apartment.
I was sitting on my bed, hands on my chin. The T.V was on but..
'How do you know if you're a ghoul?'
'Every human food doesn't taste good at all. It will make you gag.'
"Huh..Wait, what?!"
I ran up on the kitchen and started to eat everything in the refrigerator. Everything makes me gag, everything tastes awful, everything doesn't feel okay.
I tripped on the mustard sauce and fell down on the cold floor. This isn't what I want to be..I don't like this! Why does it have to be me?!
"This..can't be real!" I yelled and went to the bathroom, there it was..
My left eye turned into black and red sclera..I don't want..to be like this..
"No.." I ran out of the bathroom and grabbed a knife,
"Then if..ghoul's can generate..this will prove it!"
I pushed the knife near my tummy but,
The knife broke.
"No way..This can't be real.." I cried out loud and gripped on my jacket.

I went to my university, Kamii University.
I keep on walking and walking and walking..until..
Mari-chan glomped me down and started to babble everything.
"What's with the eyepatch?! Stylin~?" She said, grinning.
"No, I'm not!" I pouted.
"Well well, I am glad you're safe. That's all what matters to me."
Mari-chan and I were friends since we're 10 years old. She's always here by my side, she never left my side. She's kinda annoying sometimes but, I love her. And I'll never leave her. Ever.
"Anyways, I knew." She said, "Knew what?" I asked.
"You became a ghoul, [Name]." She sounded deadly serious.
Wait, she knew?! Since when?!
"[Name], It's time for you to know more about me." She said,
"Tell me before the class start." I replied, sounded so irritated.
"I am also a ghoul, so no worries." She grinned, "Your scent, smells like a ghoul."
"What do you mean? You're hiding that from me?!"
"I don't want you to hate me that time, I don't want you to freak out! I don't want to hurt you!" She yelled and tilted her head.
I feel bad, I was acting like an idiot..I didn't know what she felt.
I am a huge idiot.
"So what? Did you even helped me back there? No right?" I laughed and stared at her.
Her eyes went widen and gritted her teeth. "..I might not be there, but who keeps on being with you for the whole 9 years?"
"Huh..what do you mean?" I was confused, did i said something bad?
"What? What do i mean? Ask yourself." She walked away and went to class.
I was there, frozen.
I never did saw her like this, never.
"What should I do..?" I whispered to no one.
" I can help you. "
The guy who saved you last time said, grinning.
"Hey! You're the one who saved me back then!"
"Yes, so please shut up." He replied, clicking his tongue.

I agreed to join Ayato in Aogiri Tree, I was his ally.
But I haven't seen Mari-chan..I miss her..
"Come on, [Name]." He said,
"Mmh," I nodded.
We both jumped off the building, I activated my rinkaku kagune. I attacked the CCG's van on it's wheels. It fell down.
"Tch." Ayato whispered.
"Ayato.."
