The sun was rising bright and early over the Imperial capital city of Singuuriq, it was early summer, and the weather was warmer. It has been only days after Korra's crowning as Grand Huánghòu after Tonraq and Senna retired, feeling Korra was ready. Now it was Wan's turn to be crowned. Several servants began to dress Wan in a beautiful and elegant orange, yellow and gold Miǎn Fú, with a Miǎn Guān being placed on his head. Kaiyo cried tears of joy seeing her brother this regal.

"Brother, you're finally walked the path to this day." Kaiyo rubbed her eyes. Wan smiled and nodded at his sister, "You've walked this path too, grown up and married." A momo held Wan and Korra's children, Prince Yao and Princess Katara, four years old. Wan smiled at his children, who wanted to hug him.

"My lord dressed in a king's court attire makes me so happy." His trusted servant, Ju said, nodded.

"I will be by your side, every step there." Kaiyo blinked tears.

Wan held Kaiyo's hands, "Then I will take my steps, sister, for you."

Outside of the small palace, there were several of the highest noblemen and women waiting. Everywhere were yellow and gold ribbons and bows. Wan walked out of the building in his court attire. A man read the golden book as Wan kneeled on a yellow pillow in front of the symbol representing the Queen. "Kneel!" The man said, "Proclamation! Fùmǎ Wan Nami is graced with kindness and nobility and blessed with virtues. A loving Father, Brother, and Friend. Endured injustice and became benevolent in his deeds. With the blessing of The King and Queen dowager, and Golden book place as Qin Shi Huang."

Two servants handed Wan the golden book, and he bowed, passing it to the highest duke. "Receive the seal of a king's consort." Wan was given the golden box as well before he gave it again. "I thank your Majesty for her royal grace." Wan bowed so gracefully it made Kaiyo tears out of her eyes.

"Carry out the six full bows and kneel."

Wan did so with elegance in every limb. After that, the high nobility, including Kaiyo, followed Wan out of the small palace of a prince and princess and into the central Ta'man hall. The palace servants bowed when Wan passed by them, and horns were played.

Wan walked to meet his queen.

Wan stood in front of Korra, who wore an elaborate and long hanfu with fur, and her crown was similar to Wan but more detailed sharply. Korra breathed in as she saw Wan like this. He kneeled, "I, Qin Shi Huang Wan, son of Ju-Long Nami and Bó Atsuko Nami, will do my utmost to manage the court. I thank your highness for your grace." Wan bowed before walking up the stairs to meet Korra. Who held his hand and smiled at him. It felt like their small wedding all over again.

"May the Queen and King live for ten thousand years and be in bliss!"

The court, officials, and other members kneeled and said, "May your Majesty live ten thousand years! Long live the  Grand Queen. May your highness the King live for ten thousand years!"

" First, Kowtow !" A man yelled out, the court did three kowtows before rising. Wan and Korra held each other's hands tightly.

Wan, now in red, walked onto a fully decorated bedroom, it would be where they always slept, but this time it was red. It felt like their wedding, but without the pressing fear and haste. Wan grabbed the dragon horn and lifted Korra's veil, who blushed. She was dressed in gold and red.

Wan and Korra sat next to each other. They drank wine with a red string and bit raw fish to have many children and grandchildren. Before long, everyone left the room to leave the royal couple alone.

Korra flopped on the bed, "Spirits, I am exhausted."

Wan laughed, "Yes, smiling all day can kill. Korra, may I knead your back?"

Korra hummed, and the queen sat up and let Wan massage her. The two laughed. Korra hummed, "You have finally become my king."

"And you, my grand queen." Wan kissed her cheek. Korra held his hand, "You've suffered to get here, Wan."

"I know, but I'll do it all again, especially to throw that apple again." Wan laughed at the memory. Korra scoffed playfully, but her eyes were still as ever loving. "Even if royal life is hard and full of duties for our people, let's grow old and happy together."

"Yes, and live our lives in love."

Wan smirked before his eyes grew dark with desire, "Ready for another child, your highness?"

"Spirits, no." Korra jokes, but her eyes show that same desire, "More children. I remember when I birthed the twins. Attendants, get those clothes off of us."

Zaheer, who had grown haggard, walked on to do his chores. Six years have passed since he was cast out of nobility. He had grown a full beard, and gray hair was everywhere. His son had long left him. He was miserable as he worked on a high nobleman's farm.

The news spread of Wan's coronation like wildfire. It was grand and elegant. It was also paired with the opening of Atsuko University.

Zaheer, at this point, stopped trying to curse Wan because he won, and the spirits blessed Wan abundantly for his pain. Children, Wife, and a Crown, he traveled to every place Zaheer said he wouldn't imagine all those years.

What made it worse is that if he had treated Wan like a son instead of an enemy, he could have had the life he wanted. It took him years to realize that.

Zaheer felt the extent of Wan's suffering while he and his sister lived in full glory. The Nami name was in glory, the height of power,  while his family name was still where it was. Avni did well enough from what he could gather. His daughter disowned him and was friends with Kaiyo.

Zaheer stopped being angry because he knew he deserved it. Wisdom came, and it came hard. If Zaheer could apologize, he would. But Wan wouldn't even remember him, off to his new life. Zaheer knew Wan would laugh in his face.

And he deserved it.
