The Destructors are an American pop punk band from Ohio consisting of lead singer Asher Reed, bassist Sam Chu, guitarist Grayson Jones and drummer Sebastian Reynolds. They formed in 2019 and signed to Worldwide Records in January 2020.
The band first gained exposure with their breakout single 'Bite', which ultimately became a studio album of the same name consisting of 11 songs, distributed by Worldwide. Hit singles from the album include 'Devil Wears Red', 'Lucky Sunday' and 'The Geography of Me And You', all of which debuted in the Billboard Top 100. MTV called the 'Bite' album "an instant hit that will resonate with the new millennia."
Their second album, 'Tease', which released in September 2021, reached number 1 in the US, UK and Canada, and resulted in four chart-topping singles, 'Tease', 'Smile For The Camera', 'Breakdown' and 'Menace'. The album has been nominated for two Grammys and won three Music Billboard Awards, including 'Top Artist of the Year'.
They are currently embarking on their first US tour, which include LA, Vegas, New York, Boston, Philadelphia and ending in North Carolina.
Their highly-anticipated third album [Untitled] is set to be released on November 2022 after they return from their tour.
The Destructors are managed by Freddy McIntyre, who have represented bands like Falling Out and MILLIONAIRE.
The Destructors (band name) is inspired by a short story of the same name, written by Graham Greene.
