Yanfei's pov

i entered my room and sat down hearing sometime growl or snarl coming from mama's throat every once in awhile i grab the dragon and purple foxy plush and play with them gently sometime meowling of my own to imitade a roar "i wonder why mama and uncle looked angry earlier..." i turn to the purple foxy plush and stare at it "do you know you ? because i don't perhaps grandpa lied to mama...? it would make me angry but i don't know about mama tho..." i press it and it squeak i smiled and whithdraw my hand "your right i'll ask her after everything is over and mama calmed down..." i sat up and lisen closely to mama's muffled voices and granpa's one "don't you DARE use her again father because we both know i won't be mercyfull on either you or anyone who dare to do so..." i hissed at how mama was angry the time i climbed the blind to catch the birdie stuck over the blind...i got scolded very badly... "ganyu...please we can't let it happen again..." i heard mama snarl before speaking "SHUT IT ! i will go back to the front i'm gonna leave yanfei to granma ping in the meantime but if i learn you used her once-" i heard a blam and wanted to run out to see what happened when mama spoke again "this table will be liyue next... understood...?" i heard a small yes and the door closed i heard someone fall and uncle call mama's name out i run out of the room brinking purply foxy with me to forget jump down my paws alowing me to stay up as i ran to mama's side

i noticed she looked tired i grab purple foxy and place it on her lap and hug her she hug me back she gently nudge my head with her fingeur "i supposed you heard that you ran downstairs...?" i gulp and felt tears leaving me "i don't want mama to abandone me so of course i lisenned..." i felt her hand run threw my hair as her voice was calm and low almost a whisper making me purr soflty "i'm not leaving you forever nor abadoning you mama will just go somewhere far and fight and once it's done i'll come back home i promise yanfei..." i turn to uncle to sniff and ask "will uncle too ?" i see him smile at me before nodding slowly at me i raised my pinky before speaking again "then you will have to protect mama ! you have to protect her when i'm not here for her no matter what !" he hook his pinky fingeur with mine and respond "i promise little cub" i smiled at him as i hold onto mama tigher "you heard what he said xiao it's soon..." i heard uncle hum as mom stood with me in her arms and gently run my hand threw my hair "we're going to meet up with someone who raised me and your uncle when granpa couldn't" i sigh softly thinking on what do they look like i remember a granny ping and my imeadiate thought was a small birdy on mama's snout scolding her

i smiled softly as xiao walk out saying he'll go warn her of our arrival before he close the door saying see you soon to mama mama pick up a bag we made last night before going to sleep i was carrying purple focy while in the bag was mister dragonand some clothes as well as some of my favorite books "do you remember what i told you ?" i nod at her and turn to see where we are going i noticed an old woman staring at us xiao sitting behind them sipping on a cup of...something i don't know...i turn to look at mama who smiled at the woman "i'm quite suprise you want me to take care of her instead of cloud retainer ganyu" mama gently put me down as i hold onto her clothes i frown and hide my face as the lady look at me "so i can asume this is the little dragon i'll keep hm ?" i felt my fur stood on end just like when grandpa used to come at mama's place at night and let hs aura out as a way of domination as mama said i felt mama's hand rest on top of my head "indeed she is...yanfei dear please don't be shy and say hi to granny ping" as i slowly come out i gulp and wave at her as i felt my tail wrap around mama's leg the old woman smiled at me "it is a pleasure to finelly meet you yanfei you can call me granny i'll take care of you while your mother finish some...work with both your grandpa and the rest of the familly" i felt a bit better and swish my tial she extended her hands toward me as mama gently run her hand threw my hair as i gently took it granny gently make me walk over to her as i tun around i saw mama hand over my bags and plush "this is her stuff if you ever need anything else i also put the spare key of my home please take care of her for me" i noticed granny nod at ehr with a frown "must you really go back ?" mama nod at her

as mama got closer she kissed my forehead gently before resting her forehead on mine "please be nice my little cub mama will be back after awhile i promise you" i frown and hold her hair gently "your lying..." i noticed a small smile as tears felled down mama stared into my eyes "i know but i won't lie to you when i say that when it is all over i promise i'll come back for you my sweet little dragon cub" i whine and felt my own tears fall down "uncle will too ?" xiao walk over to me and mama and gently pat my head before ruffling them "i'll try to as i have my own duty too yanfei" i nod at him and let mama go as she move away glaring at the sky as uncle grew wings and became a immense crow as he flew off i noticed mama shifted and run high into the clouds as i was going to call her i only whined "mama..."i felt the arms of granny tighten around me "do not worry little one your mom is strong and will come back home to you i'm sure of it" i turn to her and nuzzle her neck whimpering a bit as i wanted to believe in mama's strenght

Ganyu's POV

as i ran among the cloud i jump down to land on a mountain and jump lower following xiao as he flew over me before lowering "we're almost there ganyu !" i nod at him and growl spedding up laaving ice trail behind me he screech and flew after me as we neared i saw soldiers fighting monster as i neared i roared and bite it pushing the enemy back and stop the ground so hard ice appeared impalling enemy around me as xiao rushed iin he changed back and start to fought once again with his spears killing those who they could and where still alive and dodge the spike "you shall pay for seperating me from my daughter and my domestique life !" as i rushed into the bigger one i shift back into a human and stab in with an incecycle into the eyes making it fall dead as i jump before the soliders xiao rushed next to me i saw father land and shift to stare at us "there you both are...ganyu you could have been carefull you know ?" i growl lowly as a warning before leaving to the front line followed by xiao "i heard there was allie coming is it them ?" if only you knew poor humans
