When we arrived at school I immediately noted the friction and tension in the school. I spot Kloe in the corner out of my peripheral vision. Years steamed down her face and splashed onto her pink floral shirt, through the crowd, I could hear her whimpering. Melody, a girl in my friend group came over and noted my fake concerned face .
"She heard about Thalia and Alec. And he is missing today, and you and Thalia are Kate so she caused a big scene and 'connected the dots' so she figured that they had run off together without any regard for her feelings." Melody supplied. I couldn't help it. U laughed. My biggest mistake. Melody sighed and thousands of heads whipped towards me, wings reflecting glaring sunlight into my eyes. Thalia saved the day when she said, "great joke huh?" And smiled. Kloe resumed her pitiful sobbing this time in joy and relief, and searched the room once more for Alec. He was still missing. That's when the teacher walked in pulling a disheveled Alec behind her- and HER.
