True colors

The specialists were gathered ready to attack when Kayla came out of the bush all bloody and sweaty "The school the... burned ones are at the school-" she coughed.

Sky was about to speak to Kayla when Silva cut him off "Get back and gather all the students and bring them to the courtyard. Move!" everyone went back to the vehicles including Kayla.

Riven, Kat and Kayla were inspecting the halls when they heard a noise "Hello?" "What are you doing?" Riven said pissed. 

"What if it's one of those things?" Riven questioned "Well, what if it's not?" Kayla spoke "You aren't even supposed to be here." Riven whispered. 

Some students came out of the corner saying, "There's more students down there."  

Kat instructed them to follow her leaving Riven and Kayla alone "Come on let's get there." Kayla instructed walking around the corner entering the greenhouse.

"Dane?" Riven questioned Kayla walked Infront of Riven spotting Beatrix laying on the table while Dane was trying to make something "What the hell?"

Dane looked up meeting Kayla's ocean blue eyes "She triggered a trap in Dowling's office. Some kind of paralyzation thing. I got her back here, but... I don't know what to do."

Riven nodded in response "Yeah, well, sucks for her." Kayla held Rivens's hand then said, "Riven I... we have to help her, she is my friend."

Riven shook his head holding her other hand "She's not worth it Lay she's a cold-blooded murderer." "Do It for me please?" she pleaded.

Riven couldn't handle her puppy eyes finally giving in "Fine."

Kayla smiled walking around the greenhouse to find the ingredients. 

Dane had started grinding the ingredients trying to get it right "Dane your grinding like a child let me do it." Kayla exclaimed.  

"How are you two so good at this?" Kayla mentally prepared herself for Riven's answer to Dane's question "Me and Kayla used to hang out here every day last year it was literally where we had our first date, and it was a complete disaster, but we ended up hanging out with Terra which wasn't bad cause she ended up playing us slow music for us to slow dance." Riven chuckled.

"Less chatting more action boys." Kayla said waiting for the steam to work on Beatrix.

"You are gay right? I mean I can tell when somebody wants my dick." Dane chuckled at Rivens sentence then said, "Yeah I think your hot, Beatrix is too in a different way but Kayla on the other hand is Extremely hot." Kayla was too worried to even hear him at this point.

Kayla was about to move the steam closer when she felt a sharp pain "Umm I'm going to go treat my cut." before she could go Riven grabbed her hand "You know I keep forgetting that you were cut, must mean you're a good actress." Kayla rolled her eyes walking to the other side of the room to treat her cut. 

Kayla glanced at the boys then at Beatrix who loudly said, "That sounds like an answer, Kayla... you're okay." Beatrix got off the table running to hug Kayla.

"Oh, how I missed yo-" a sudden growl was heard from outside the Greenhouse.

Sky and Silva where walking when Silva stopped "Look Sky I don't know how this night will end, Sky, so I need to tell you the truth about Aster dell, and I need you to tell your sister-" "Last time I checked I was the worst brother, Remember."

Silva took a moment then started telling Sky everything from Andreas's teaming with Rosalind, to the fight and to how he killed his father.

Sky was left speechless at what had just happened and didn't want to tell his sister well for now because she already had a lot on her plate.

...

Back in the greenhouse the four were talking when the power had come back "We should get back." "We should." Dane said agreeing with Riven.

"Rosalind will be here soon. Hear her out. Her and my dad have a plan. The two of you can be part of it." Beatrix said with passion "What about me?" Kayla questioned.

"You are the plan." "Hang on your dad is the one who sent you in here?" Dane asked.

"Technically, he's not my dad, his Kayla's dad." Kayla was confused after hearing those words come out of Beatrix's mouth 

Suddenly the door behind the two girls flung open "Beatrix, it's been a long time, Kayla."

"They're our friends both of them." "Always nice to have friends, I expect they want to know what happens next."  

Kayla glanced back at the door spotting Julia "Hey sweety, quite the escape you did back at my house." 

Kayla gulped at the sight of her so-called mother.

All the Specialists were gathered for the arrest of Silva, but all Kayla could do was stand there next to Beatrix and stare at her mother and father.

Andreas looked at Kayla catching her off guard "Hello my princess, I've been watching you ever since you were a little girl watching Silva raise you wrong but I'm here now, so you don't need to stare at me thinking I'm going." 

Kayla looked down hiding the tears pouring down her face. 

Little did she know she was going to have to face a lot after that.
