"𝘼𝙝! 𝘼𝙝! 𝙤𝙠𝙖𝙮 𝙈𝙖𝙢𝙖, 𝙙𝙖𝙢𝙣!" Murda shouts and squirms dramatically. Alicia hovers over Murda's hospital bed. He lays flat with his hands intertwined, almost as if he's at a spa. He'll never admit how comfortable this feeling, feels. "𝙅𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙢𝙚 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙞𝙩 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙦! 𝙌𝙪𝙞𝙩 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜!" Alicia demands as she pries a black head out the side of Murda's face. "𝙄 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝙄 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨" he says whiningly. "𝙊𝙝 𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙪𝙝 𝙝𝙪𝙨𝙝!" She laughs after realizing how often they end up here. "𝘼𝙣𝙙... 𝙜𝙤𝙩 𝙞𝙩!" she says, smiling at the dead skin cells between the tongs of her tweezers. She's been doing this to his black heads and pimples since he was old enough to grow them.

When she got to have Murda home with her, her favorite thing to do was oil his scalp and pick at his blots and blemishes. This irritated the 𝘏𝘌𝘓𝘓 out of him, but he could tell it genuinely made her happy. He liked seeing his momma happy, he was so used to seeing her stressed and frantic. He did however, always find it weird how excited pus and dead skin could make her. To Alicia, it really wasn't about the odd satisfaction at all, but more so the limited time she would get with her baby boy, laying on her lap and allowing her to tend to him. He was 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 the one tending to her. She grew embarrassed, and felt less than the mother title she was given the day she found out she was to become one. In these rare moments, she was able to take care of Murda and express her love in the only way she knew how most the time.

𝙊𝙤𝙤𝙝! 𝙄𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙩𝙤𝙤... 𝙨𝙚𝙚, 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙩" Alicia says, lowering the teasers so he can see. He stares up at her, shaking his head and hysterically appalled. "𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙡 𝙗𝙞𝙩 𝙤𝙛𝙛, 𝙢𝙖𝙢𝙖" They break out into laughter.

"𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙘𝙠 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙘𝙠 𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙪𝙝" Woddy enters the room carrying Hot Wing Castles bags and a tray of drinks. "𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙮, 𝙬𝙚 𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣' 𝙛𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙡𝙡" Alicia says smirking at Murda. The laughing continues as if this was something they joked about prior. Woddy can't help but also chuckle at the energy shift in the room since he's left. Knowing what he knows about their relationship, he's happy to see them getting along. "𝙔'𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙜𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙥 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙡𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙝, 𝙗𝙧𝙪𝙝" Woddy says jokingly. Both Alicia and Murda look at each other and then back to Woddy. "𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙡𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙝?" they say in sync. It almost frightens Woddy how alike they are. It was bad enough that they shared the same face. Woddy joins them, shaking his head.

A few hours has passed and Cliff is in the car, on her way to see Murda for the second time today. She figured she could sneak a hour or two in before she heads over to The Pynk. She's let Big L and Diamond convince her that they'll hold it down while she stepped out to see her "bwoyfren." She grips the steering wheel, eying the road. It's deep into five o clock traffic so she's got granmuva on speaker phone, catching her up on how her favorite grandson is doing. "𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙙, 𝙞 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙮𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙪𝙝𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙗 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙖 𝙜𝙪𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙬𝙖𝙮. 𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙩, 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙜𝙤𝙣' 𝙙𝙤 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢? 𝙏𝙬𝙞𝙧𝙡 𝙖 𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙣?" Ernestine says. "𝙂𝙪𝙝, 𝙖𝙞𝙣'𝙩 𝙣𝙤𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙮 𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙣𝙤 𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙜𝙪𝙝 𝙞𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙣𝙤 𝙜𝙪𝙣! 𝙄 𝙩𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙢𝙪𝙫𝙖, 𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙩 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙗...𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚" Cliff corrects her. Everyone knows Ernestine's good for twisting and reimagining stories.
