The walk home | Chapter 3 -

A/N:: My fault ya'll I haven't been updating but I had litterally no motivation and I completely forgot abt this book until I went on wattpad's pencil icon thingy and saw 'Moonilt sky' for the first time in months lol. But I'm back and I guess I'll try to get this published today!!

Gonner had offered to walk you to your home that night after you had to leave, the time was now 10:38. You had to be home by 11:00 flat, you and Gonner had at least twenty-one minutes to get to your house before your mother was home.

You and Gonner had been walking for five minutes already in an uncomfortable silence, you hadn't made any conversation scince you started walking, and that's awkward.

So you decided that you needed to make conversation.

You started off with asking a question you were dying to know the answer to "Who was Isis talking about back at the campfire?" Gonner slightly stiffened, still walking, "You wouldn't know 'er" He said, with his head bowed.

"I mean you guys said she was mortal so ofcourse I would know her!" You said protesting

Gonner fought with his thoughs on telling you who this mystery girl is. He decided not to tell you. "It's no one ye should worry yer pretty lil head about" He said lightly smiling. Tilting his head in my direction.

I looked at him frowning 'This girl must've messed them up if neither of them will tell me who she is!!' I exclaimed in my thoughts.

As we inched closer towards my home I hastily and slowly look over to the driveway to check if mom had already came home 'Thank the lord she's not here yet!' I sighed with relief.

I turned my head over to Gonner who was by my side already looking at me. I slightly flushed with embarrassment, and told him "This is my house, thank you for walking me Gonner" I thanked him with a smile.

He smiled back at me sweetly "Yer welcome lassie"

I turned away from Gonner's face, looking at the front door of my two story home, sighing I walk towards my door waving good bye to Gonner, he dips his pirate hat in my direction, assuming he's saying goodbye to me aswell I send a sweet smile in his direction and unlock the door, letting myself in.

Once my door is closed all the way I turn around and lock it, next running up my stairs and into my bedroom closing my door behind me, jumping on my bed and immediately pulling my phone out of my back pocket.

I've been scrolling for a few minutes on tiktok when my phone suddenly shut off, it died, I put my phone on the charger and went to the bathroom getting ready to take a shower.

Getting out of the shower and ringing out my wet (H/l), (H/c) hair, I walked over to my counter and started putting all my after shower treatments on my scalp and rubbed it in gently, grabbing my hair brush I run it through my hair detangling it, twirling my hair and pinning it to my head with a (F/c) claw clip.

Walking back into my room I pulled out some pajamas from my dresser and put them on my body, making sure to carefully put my shirt over my head as to not get the back of my shirt wet or to undo my makeshift ponytail being held up with the clip, I walked over to my bed and sleepily flopped ontop of it.

Falling into a deep slumber.
