Observing the passing traffic, Luna sat in her seat and peered out the window. She had a flight in three hours, therefore she was currently making her way to the airport. She had problems with her passport a few hours earlier, but everything was resolved at this point, which is why she was by herself. To put it lightly, she was anxious about appearing in front of a large crowd of fans without her fellow band members. But knowing she had her manager and the security guards to protect her let her feel better.
Her manager interrupted her by saying they had arrived. She saw the fans when she looked out the window. Since she was alone, it appeared that the crowd had increased three times the size. Before the manager opened the door, she took a big breath, straightened her hair, and grinned. The manager told her where to stand as soon as she stepped outside, and the cameras started rolling right away. She kept pace with the manager while striking a variety of positions for the camera, constantly smiling.
The moment Luna made her way into the crowd, the true mayhem began. The crowd appeared to be drawing nearer as the camera flashes grew more intense. She was safe because there were security officers all around her and her manager was in front of her.
————————
She was having a tough time walking because people were shoving cameras in her face and shoving each other to take pictures. Luna noticed that she was getting hot and that her palms were beginning to sweat. She felt short of breath and her heart began to beat rapidly. The fact that she was continuously being touched by people in the crowd didn't help.
Before anyone could notice, she swiftly brushed away a tear that had started to fall down her cheek. She lowered her head to avoid having her face captured by the cameras. As the audience grew larger and became more raucous, the manager and security guard felt helpless.
Since the screaming from the crowd and the sounds of the cameras were hurting her ears, Lune reflected, "I should have packed my headphones."
Luna awoke from her trance and turned to face her manager, who was standing nearby, holding her hand and giving her a motherly smile. Luna genuinely missed her mother after seeing her face. She wished she could give her a big embrace and hold her hand right now. She cried even harder at the idea and managed a flimsy smile before looking down again.
She sobbed in quiet, trying not to make a scene if she broke into tears, but she needed to let it all out. But she was aware that if she appeared on the news, people would condemn her for "not keeping it together" or for being a "crybaby."
————————
She eventually made it through security and was on her way to her gate, where she would meet the rest of the group, after what felt like an eternity. There were no longer any cameras present, and the atmosphere was serene. Everyone was rushing to board their flight, nobody was bothering her or asking for pictures.
She hurried in their direction as soon as she recognized one of her team members and saw worry written all over their faces. Her red, puffy eyes revealed that she had sobbed even though she had already dried her tears and ceased crying. She hugged the first person she saw, who happened to be Heeseung. He engulfed her in a huge hug, and everyone gathered around her to try to comprehend why she was crying.
After they all sat still while they awaited their flight. Finally able to unwind, she put on some headphones, laid her head on Sunghoon's shoulder, and closed her eyes.

AN:Thinking about how I would behave in this situation helped me come up with this chapter. What if I were a Kpop idol and was surrounded by fans and media at the airport? I genuinely believe that I'd have a panic attack. I start to sweat and feel out of breath just from watching what real Kpop stars go through at the airport.
Q: What are some reasons you wouldn't be a Kpop idol?
Here are some of mine
- No normal life, as in I can't picture being 30 and single. If you do date, you will thereafter lose half of your supporters.
- If your group is well known, you will face a lot of criticism and public scrutiny. Nugu groups don't get paid enough, they frequently disband early. Many groups experience discrimination or harassment.
- lack of power over your life. They choose what you wear and what color to dye your hair, you can't date. What you eat and how you act on camera
I still find it hard to accept that Chen's marriage and having a child upset "fans". But, I absolutely loved when only like 10 people shows up to protest infron of SM Entertainment.
Do y'all remember that event?
