Kat stretched her arms and looked at her calendar (from her bed).
"What does that say...?" Kat wondered as she rubbed her eyes.
She squinted her eyes and stared at the calendar again. When she figured out the date she gasped.
"IT'S SPOOKY MONTH!?" she exclaimed as she jumped out her bed.
Kat ran out her room, not caring to get ready for the day.
"GUYS IT'S SPOOKY MONTH!" Kat yelled from the top of her lungs.
"SHUT THE HELL UP!" Ghiaccio yelled from his room.
Suddenly- Formaggio kicked his door open and yelled, "IT'S ALREADY SPOOKY MONTH!?"
"HELL YEAH!" Kat shouted back.
"C'MON! LET'S GO DECORATE THE HOUSE!" Formaggio exclaimed as he grabbed Kat's hand and ran outside.
"HEY YOU TWO!" they heard from inside the house, "GET BACK IN HERE!"
Formaggio kept running when he abruptly asked Kat, "Do you have any money?"
"Uh- no-"
"Let's sneak in Prosciutto's room and take his money!" Formaggio smiled evilly.
Formaggio went around to the back of their base and climbed up a ladder on an adjacent building. Kat followed suit and climbed up the ladder. Formaggio made himself small (along with Kat) and snuck into the room.
"Any idea where his money is?" Formaggio asked Kat.
"Wha-? Why do you think I know??" Kat asked, confused.
Sighing, Formaggio opened drawers in the room as Kat stayed near the door. Formaggio eventually found some money ($500) and motioned at Kat to leave. They quickly snuck back out the room and ran away.
They entered a store that sold Halloween decorations. Both stared at each other with a mischievous grin as they split the cash. Kat walked into an isle that sold orange lights.
"Perfect," she thought as she took a few.
Formaggio, on the other hand, had a basket full of decorations. They met up at a checkout and smiled at each other, giggling. After they bought all those Halloween decorations, they went back home and hid them in Formaggio's room.
"Where were you two?"
Kat stopped what she was doing (as well as Formaggio) and looked to the direction of the voice. To their horror- it was Prosciutto.
"I- Pros, we can explai-"
"Ugh- fine- decorate the house," Prosciutto sighed, "don't go overboard."
Formaggio sweatdropped and looked at the stash of Halloween decor he and Kat hid.
"Uh-huh, ok," Kat hummed.
Prosciutto left the room, closing the door behind him. Little did he know- that's not what he was going to get.
*Time Skip*
It was now 12:36 PM, Kat was at home by herself. She then remembered how she and Formaggio bought a ton of Halloween decorations. Kat ran towards Formaggio's room and looked for the secret stash of decor. She found the stash and took it to the living room.
"Alrighty, let's do this!" Kat thought happily, opening the box the stash was in.
She first placed small, fake pumpkins on the shelves. Then she put a mini skeleton on a ceiling fan with a string. Something caught her attention- it was the excessive amount of lights she bought.
"I forgot I bought these-" she said, dumbfounded.
Taking the lights out the box, she started the string the lights around the entire house.
In total, that entire "stringing the lights" process took her 2 hours. Surprisingly, nobody was back yet. Well- Formaggio got back as Kat strung up the last light.
"Hey Ka- Woah," Formaggio looked around the house, "it's very... Orange, in the base."
"Oh hey Formaggio," Kat greeted, peeking her head out from the living room, "wanna help decorate?"
"Fuck yes!" he exclaimed excitedly.
"He reeks of blood," Kat scrunched up her nose but tried to ignored the smell.
*Yet another Time Skip*
Formaggio and Kat finally finished decorating the entire house (with Formaggio liking the mini skeleton on the ceiling fan), just in time since the team just came back. When they opened the door, they were greeted by a flashbang of orange.
"WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BASE!?" Gelato exclaimed, "It's so ORANGE!"
Prosciutto glared at Formaggio and Kat as he walked towards them.
"I said to not go overboard," Prosciutto told them angrily, "you two better put this away by yourselves when Halloween is over."
"Yessir," Kat saluted him as if he was a commander.
Prosciutto walked away, looking angry. Though oh the other hand, the rest of the team didn't mind.
"How long did this take?" Melone asked, sitting on the couch in the living room.
"Uhhh... Maybe... five hours?" Formaggio answered, "Kat did most of the work though.
"I like the skeleton," Illuso said, looking at the mini skeleton on the ceiling fan, "can we keep it?"
"Don't ask me!" Kat put her hands up, "ask Risotto!"
Illuso left the living room to (probably) ask Risotto to keep the skeleton. Ghiaccio did not like the excessive amounts of orange in the house, but he didn't really show it. Pesci thought it was cool that Kat and Formaggio decorated the house. Sorbet didn't care at all. Risotto? Not sure yet; but from what Kat could tell, he didn't mind it.
"So what now?" Melone asked.
"Do Halloween stuff I guess?" Kat shrugged, "I know it isn't Halloween yet but who cares."
Melone agreed to join Kat (and Formaggio) in their Halloween games. One of those games were to tell scary stories.
"Ok, so I went into a store right?" Kat started, "and there I saw FOUR WEEGEE BOARDS!"
Formaggio- who was on crack- started laughing his ass off.
"That's not even funny," Ghiaccio scoffed (yes he also joined).
"And then I went to put my sweater on," Kat continued, "and I hit FOUR DOLLS!"
Formaggio laughed even more, but he sounded like he was dying.
"When I went home with my four weegee boards, I noticed I had THREE!" Kat exclaimed, holding up 3 fingers, "I then figured out that the FOUR DOLLS I hit were using the weegee board and KILLED ME IN MY SLEEP!"
Still wheezing and laughing, Formaggio was on the floor. Melone chuckled a bit, thinking they were funny. Illuso who now just joined in was very confused. And Ghiaccio just sat there, still not thinking they were funny.
And that's how Halloween with Kat and La Squadra went. They told spooky stories at night and played games. And of course- they kept that skeleton on the ceiling fan.
