Ice cream

"You wanna get ice cream?" Tess turned and said to Penny, who looked over as Tess started talking.
"Actually... aren't you lactose intolerant?" Tess remembered, before hanging her head down, and looking at the fence they were sitting on.
"I mean... yeah, but all it does is make me bloated, it's not like it'll kill me" Penny said, hopping off of the fence and stretching her arms above her head. It was a cloudy day, and it had rained earlier. There were puddles formed on the roads and paths, but the two didn't care. The girls happily ran along the paths, as cars drove past. Penny personally loved the rush of cold air hitting her face as they bolted to the "diabetes" shop as Penny called it. Tess however, didn't love the rush of cold air, she instead loved Penny's company. Penny reached the door to the shop, whilst Tess still ran for the entrance. She finally caught up, and reached her arms out for a hug. Penny responded quickly, and hugged her back.
"Don't... run away... from me again" She panted, as Penny held her up to she could catch her breath. After about 20 seconds, Penny felt a peck on her neck, from Tess.
"You can let me go now" she mumbled, before Penny moved her arms, and Tess stood up. The two walked inside, feeling a sudden rush of warm air hit them.
"WOAH... sorry, I've never seen this much sweet stuff in a shop before" Penny said, as it was her first time entering the shop. Tess stumbled in behind her, before they walked towards the back of the shop, where there was a large fridge with soft drinks inside.
"Yo Tess, wanna piss rocks for a week straight?" Penny said to Tess, pointing at the wall of fizzy drinks.
The two burst out laughing, before heading to the front of the shop, to choose their ice cream flavours.
"Me and my dad used to come here all the time" Tess said, as Penny examined all the flavours she could choose from. As Penny pressed her fingers against the plastic screen, she felt the heat on her fingertips, reading over all the flavours.
"I want cookie dough" She said, in a childish sounding voice.
Tess noted it down in her mind, as she inspected the flavours she could choose.
She finally made up her mind, choosing strawberry, before going to the counter and ordering their ice cream.
"Can I get... two scoops cookie dough, and two scoops strawberry, please?" She asked, handing over a £10 note.
"Is that all I can get you ladies?" The female cashier asks, reaching into the register and giving her the change, which was £5.50.
"Okay, you're order number 6, we'll call you up when we're ready to serve you" The cashier said, handing Tess a receipt. She took the receipt, and stood back against the wall Penny had stood against whilst Tess ordered.
"Never too old to order cookie dough, are y'a cutie?" Tess said, looking at Penny, letting out a slight chuckle.
"Never too old for a cuddle either, are ya?" Penny said, chuckling as she reached over and embraced Tess. She didn't hug her back, but rather leant her head on Penny's, as she hugged her. Penny let go, and went back to where she stood moments ago. They stood in silence, and waited for their ice cream to be served to them. After 5 minutes, they were called up to collect their ice cream.
"Order number 6!" A male worker called out, before Tess ran up to the counter, and grabbed the 2 tubs of ice cream from his hands.
"Thanks!" She said, as her and Penny ran out of the shop, and down the street. Tess handed Penny her ice cream. Penny felt how cold the ice cream was, as she held it in both hands. They came up to a small wall, and jumped up on it and sat on top of it, looking out to the road.
"I got plastic spoons" Tess said, handing Penny one of them, as she opened her ice cream.
Penny sat contently, and ate her ice cream quietly, as Tess struggled to start a conversation with her.
"So... how was your day..?" Tess muttered, which was overshadowed by the sound of Penny's spoon hitting the tub.
Penny scooped up a spoonful, before turning and pointing the spoon at Tess.
"Eat it" Penny said, with ice cream in her mouth. Tess opened her mouth, and Penny gently placed the spoon on her tongue, as she watched Tess' mouth close. Penny slid the spoon out of Tess' mouth, watching as residue stuck to the spoon.
"Come on, lick it all up" Penny said, before putting the spoon back into Tess' mouth. Tess blushed as Penny shoved the spoon into her mouth, since she was being so dominant.
Tess smiled, as Penny took the spoon out, before shoving it into her mouth, and licking it clean. She took the spoon out, and stabbed it back into the tub of ice cream in her hand.
"I love You, Penny" Tess said suddenly, catching Penny's attention almost immediately.
"I love You too, Tess" She smiled back & blushed, before reaching over and pulling Tess in, embracing her in her arms.
