Chapter 16

Taehyung's P.O.V.

I drive along the streets to the address that Dong Yi sent me. As i drive i see a couple walking by the road, holding hands and smiling happily. What on the earth are they even doing out this late night? I pushed away the thoughts and continue driving.

I see Dong Yi's car on the street and park mine behind it. A few step away i see Jennie's car and sighed in relief.

"Thanks god, she's okay! " After i park the car behind Dong Yi's car.. I decided to get out and go after Jennie and come back home with her.

But when i look towards the entrance of the park, my heart races. Jennie walks out of the gates and start to cross the road without making sure that no vehicles are coming her way and it all happened so fast..

And i couldn't process anything...

A car speed towards her and the next minute she was hit...

"JENNIE!!!"

I scream. I practically run towards her as Dong Yi tries to note the number of the car. He then follows me.

Blood is dripping along her forehead and her face is covered with a blood. Her eyes closed and i know she's unconcious. I place my hand on her cheek, kneeling down beside her and pulling her into my arms.

"JENNIE. JENNIE! Open your eyes." I said even though i know she can't. She doesn't response and i try again.

"The ambulance is on the way, sir."

"Jennie, wake up please! Look at me." I'll try to stop the tears in my eyes.

"You will be okay, huh? Nothings gonna happen to you." I said and repeat it again and again.

3rd Person P.O.V

He smirked seeing Taehyung in pain. He knew that Jennie meant a lot to him, so he targeted her to pull him down. He let out a soft chuckle seeing Taehyung in the middle of the road, on the verge of crying and helpless.

"That's a good one." She smirked and he nods back at her.

"It is. But this is just the beginning." He smile. A proud smile and grins wickledly and laughed.

They both let out an evil laughed as they watch Taehyung with Jennie in his arms until the ambulance arrives.

JENNIE's P.O.V

Pain. Pain. Pain is all i can feel. My head hurts, my legs hurt, my whole body aches. It feels like somebody is hitting my head with hammer and roasting my legs on fire. It's really hurt.

It definitely sounds funny but that is how i feel. I feel a hand brush my cheek pulling me out of my thoughts. I'll try to open my eyes but failed. And then i heard his voice.

"Please wake up Jennie."

It's Taehyung. I want to pull away from his touch but my body doesn't respond.

"Just wake up, please."

I heard his voice crack making my heart flip. And then everything goes quiet and i fall asleep.

"Mommy, Mommy! wake up." I heard Miru voice.

"Don't be lazy, Mommy. Wake up." He said again. I heard a sighed before i feel a small pair of lips touch my cheek.
