"Your city is in ruins. You are-" I stopped and raised my eyebrow.  "You're wrapped in my cape".
Swaddled in the thick fabric, only his face was visible, his expression trapped between a scowl and a pout."It's cold down here, and you left it in reach. Not my fault you don't keep you lair heated".
"You look adorable" I said, not thinking. I looked over at him, his lips parted in surprise. I could see a faint blush entering his cheeks but then he turned away. "Don't be so flustered. I just complimented you. What's gonna happen when I actually kiss you?". I gasped as I realised what I said. But I didn't have much time to do anything else because I felt soft, hesitant lips touching mine, as if asking a question. I leaned forward, answering.
