Under Water; Above the Sky

Luke and Luis will do whatever Jack says. Lucky for me; Jack would love to see me dead. On Christmas break, I decided to watch the sea crash onto the cliff below as the sun hid behind the horizon. The smooth sound of the waves and the salty air calmed me as I began to slip from reality. That is until I heard footsteps close onto me. Before I could react, Luke and Luis had grabbed me by my arms and and I looked ahead to see a slim boy with dark hair and a grin reaching from ear to ear.

"Well, well if it isn't sweet Roze" Jack said smoothly, "I thought I told you not to look at me. Luis, what did she do yesterday?".

"Uhhhhh.... She looked-ed at you?" Luis responded as he tightened his grip.

"Very good! And what does that mean?"

Luke rose his free right hand and wove it frantically; "Oh! Oh! That means she must be hurted right!"

Jack nods and jabs me right below my ribs and pain fills my body. Jack laughs and the twins soon laugh along with him.

"Is that really the best you got?" I sneered. Jack's grin falls immediately and grabs my face, tightening.

"You know what Roze, I tried to be nice but you just aren't wise enough to stay quiet". Right as Jack releases me from his grasp, he swings into my right jaw. Black spots begin to cloud my vision, I can not black out. Then he would get the satisfaction of winning ad I'm not about to let that happen. I shake my head and stomp on Luis' left foot. He cries in pain and I free myself from their restraints and punch straight into Jack's side. The hit was so strong, he fell onto the wet dirt. I begin to run and feel a giant object hit me on the side. Luke must have thrown a rock straight at me and the next thing I know, I'm back to where i started. This time the twins grasped my arm to a point where I could not feel them any longer.

"I'm done with your sh*t, Roze! No more will you be in my way! Tonight you will regret everything you have ever done." Jack stomped his way towards me, wiping the mud from his face. I brace myself as he rose his fist for his final hit and he stopped. I looked up and saw Jacks grin slowly creep up on the side of his face.

"You know, I think I was being a bit to rude. I don't know what I was thinking. You were here just watching the sea, right?" Jack grabs me from my jacket and begins to push me back. " Well then let me help you get a better view." Dangling on the edge of the cliff, trying to push my way back, I am caught in Jack's blood-thirsty glare. "I would say I would miss you Roze, but then I would be lying. Learn quickly." I shake and scream at Jack but his grip loosens, "Farewell Roze". He smiles in delight as I fall farther from his deadly stare.

His laugh echoed as I hit the freezing waves. I'm sure he was glad he pushed me off. I'm also sure he knew I can't swim. I struggled, reaching for the surface but I sank deeper and deeper. The water turned from blue to black as I accepted my fate. I began to see bright spots form around me and I realized that I'm was no longer in water, I'm was above a city in the stars, falling. I fell quickly and smashed onto stones, coughing up the salty water. I looked up to the sky, which was once the smooth sea. Am I dead?
