Lisa smiled to herself as she secretly sniffed Jennie's cloak that the brunette-haired wrapped around her.Mint was tickling her nose.
That's the fragrance that her nose was always craving to smell. It made her feel that Jennie was hugging her from the back. That thought was more than enough to wake the butterflies in her stomach.
Lisa was acting and feeling like a lovesick teenager.
She wanted to scold herself, but when she remembered that she was actually still a teenager, she just shrugged her shoulders. She realized that this action was still okay and acceptable at her age, so just bear with her in the meantime.
Leo couldn't help but stifle a laugh as he watched Lisa.
The younger girl looked back at him, embarrassed that she was caught sniffing Jennie's cloak.
"Don't worry, I won't tell Your Highness, Milady."
Lisa frowned, "Why are you calling me Milady?"
Leo shrugged his shoulders and just kept on walking at the same pace as hers. "Well, you will soon be Your Highness's lover, so better practice calling you now with that."
Lisa's blush deepened but she felt sate with the mask that was covering her blushing cheeks.
So that's what Jennie used to feel.
"W-What are you saying?"
Leo glanced at her and arched up his brows, "Well, isn't that what will happen if we finally get home, and you finally confess your feelings?"
Lisa caught her breath in her throat and immediately looked away. "How sure-"
Leo, predicting what Lisa would say, immediately cut her off, "Oh come on. Believe me. She likes you as much as you like her or maybe even more. I don't know how many times you two have kissed already, but I was confident that the kiss earlier wasn't the first one." He grinned even wider while wiggling his eyebrows.
Lisa rolled her eyes at the werewolf, but her lips formed a smile. It's not like she wasn't aware that Jennie had some sort of feelings for her. It's just that she doesn't want to assume. She, of course, prefers to hear it from the Jennie's own lips.
Lisa stopped herself from spilling the beans, spilling how many times they had kissed already. That was their second kiss already, at least that's what she thought because she couldn't remember what happened the night when she got herself drunk.
Jennie had never got the willpower to mention it because she didn't know how she would narrate what happened without blushing.
"I've been with her for more than 2 decades already, but I never saw her be agitated and be happy since you came. I'm, no- we're glad that she met you. I don't know if you know about her past already, but she has a very horrible past and I seriously think she deserves to be happy more than anyone."
Leo rarely gets serious when he isn't with Jennie and, right now, it is one of those rare moments.
Lisa didn't know what she should say in response to what Leo said, so she just shut her mouth and let her mind wander about the Jennie again.
