Merry Go round broke down

Once Hedy was dressed in her usual outfit that she wore when working as a PI she  and her uncle  made their way out of the building to meet up with Dolores , Hedy noticed that Eddie was still steamed from seeing Jess Rabbit almost kiss her and was giving her the silent treatment. 

"Come on, Uncle Eddie . You don't believe a painted himbo like that could turn my head? he's just trying to get his hands on the Roger,  you said that you believed me so, stop giving me the cold shoulder " Hedy said in an perturbed tone as the two of them stopped walking.

"Hedy I do believe you I really do I was mostly shocked when I saw him almost kiss you" Eddie admitted in an honest tone.

"Shocked? why were you shocked" Hedy asked in a curious tone .

"Because he had the same look in his eye when your Dad was about to kiss your Mom" Eddie replied making Hedy feel even more confused.

"What kind of look uncle Eddie?" Hedy asked in a vulnerable tone

"The look of pure love " Eddie replied in a honest tone as the two started to walk towards Dolores.

"Oh" Hedy said quietly as a deep red blush bloomed on her face. 

Dolores was standing by the bar waiting for them and she noticed Hedy's  bright blush 

" Hedy what's wrong,  you look like you spent the day at the beach" Dolores asked in a concern tone. 

"I'm  fine Auntie Dolores , Jess Rabbit payed me a visit at the office while Uncle Eddie was getting the hand cuffs off  and he was this close to kissing me " Hedy said with her thumb and index finger an inch apart. 

"And he would've too if I didn't walk in on them" Eddie said in a sour tone

"Drop it Uncle Eddie" Hedy said in an annoyed tone. 

"Now look , Dolores , Hedy   Listen to me. I want you gals to go out and  buy  new swimsuits cause we are going to Catalina and getting away from the city for a few days  . I'm on the verge of wrapping up this case" Eddie said in a hopeful tone.

"No you're not, Eddie.  I stopped by probate. Maroon's not after Toontown like you thought. It's Cloverleaf that want to get their hands on Toontown. They put in the highest bid. And unless Mr. Acme's will shows up by midnight tonight, Cloverleaf is going to own Toontown" Dolores said in an exasperated tone.

" What by Midnight tonight ?" Eddie said in a dumbfounded tone. 

"That's right" Dolores replied 

"Why would a Transportation company want Toontown ?, I have a really bad feeling about this" Hedy said a concerned tone . 

"I'm with you Hedy ,  I mean first they buy the Red Car. then they want to get their hands on Toontown I don't get it either" Eddie said trying to work it out.

"Sshhhh"Dolores said as the three of them heard Music and Roger singing in the bar. 

" Roger" Eddie said as the three of them rushed into the bar .

Unaware of the Weasels who were eavesdropping on them in the sewer 

" Hee hee!" Psycho Laughed

"The Rabbit, get the judge"  Smart ass said as he lifted up the manhole.

When Hedy, Eddie and Dolores entered the bar they saw Roger putting  a show   on top of the bar  to the tune of 'Merry Go Round Broke Down'.

"Oh, Roger is my name, and laughter is my game! Come on, cowpoke, it's just a joke! Don't sit there on your brain! ,Woo hoo hoo! Nice shirt. Who's your tailor? Quasimodo? Woo hoo! 'My buddy's Eddie V A sourpuss you'll see But when I'm done He'll need no gun Cause a joker he will be C, D, E, F, G, H, I!I-I-I-I love to raise some cain Believe me it's no strain It feels so great To smash a plate And look, there's no pain."  Roger sang as he broke plates on his head over and over again when the Record got stuck.
