Rose was treated better than Canon Harry but not by much. She was given her own room and food.

But she was still told to do all of the chores, bullies by her uncle and cousin. Mostly ignored by her aunt, unless she's telling Rose what she did wrong.
Sometimes patina would stand up for her if uncle was going too far.

Got mostly hamidowns from her cousin. Most of the boys in school thought that she was a boy, even her cousin teased her for it. She didn't care though she would either play ruff with the boys back or run. Especially when they play catching rose

When people were over she was either be a servant to them or shown off as a charity case to boost uncle's reputation or something. She alway had to be on her best herbivore in fear of her uncle. But not too good and make dudley look bad.

Same with school, it didn't matter if she failed but dam if she gets better grades then her cousin. Which was hard because dudley was an idiot. Even started doing his homework so she wouldn't have to fail as well.

She didn't have many things she liked but she liked to run. It always annoyed her aunt when she was a little running around the house. Running was the one they couldn't stop. It was her one Scorsese of freedom.
Which is why she hated when she was locked in her room. If she was " really bad" she was locked in the cupboard. The longest was a week with no food. She never wanted to go in the cupboard again.

Rose pov

For dudley's birthday I was forced to come to the zoo. I tried my best to stay away. I wasn't in the mood to get picked on today. Hearing my cousin complain and aunt patina giving him whatever he wanted was annoying. Every time.

I walked annulously over to the snake exhibit. I could hear something" food food I want food. Food food". She truns to the sound of the noise. Surprised to hear it coming from the snake. " so hungry".
She nods, " I understand I know what it's like to go hungry"
" hatching can speak" the snake lifted its head and looked at the rose intently.
" yes. Though I never talked to a snake before. I'm Rose, what's your name?". The snake shakes his head. " do you not have a name". The snake nods. But I must call you something. What you like to be called"
the snake looks up for a moment thinking" Rey."
" Rey it is. Where are you from then? Do you miss your family?" The snake pointed to the board next to the glass. Captive bred boa conspirator. " I see, I don't have a family either. My parents died when I was a baby. I don't remember them."
The snake looks to the side thinking.
" sssorry I know most human hatching have a ma and pa. Who you withssss"
" my aunt and uncle. They don't like me very much but can't " put her fingers in the air" they don't trust me." Put her hands down. " But I got to meet you. Maybe I should talk to snakes more-"
" mom dad you won't believe what this snake is doing". Dudley's shoves rose down to the ground.
Rey flared up," back human back. Get away from me"
Rose looks up at Dudley angry. Out of nowhere the glass dudley was leaning on disappeared. Making Dudley fall on the Rey. The snake quickly coiled around the fat boy. With fear in Rose eyes grabs her tries to Rey off her cousin, "ssstop Rey stop it. Let go of him"
" I warn human, human attack me, I won't let human hurt me ".
" He meant no harm, he fell on you. He won't hurt you. Just let go"
" lier all humans lie"
" I don't lie. I never tell lies just please let him go"
" fine human" he let go of dudley " only because I like you. See you amigo" he slithers away. Duddle moves away from the snake and starts crying. God admit this isn't going to end well.
Aunt patina comes around the corner," o my baby what happened ".
dudley points to me. God admit here we go," she did it. She sent a snake after me".
" I didn't the"
" silence I DON'T WANNA HEAR A WORD OUT YOU" She hold dudley helping him up.
" I Wanna go home!"
" of course sweetie we will go right now" she turns to me " GO TO THE CAR NOW". I quickly get up and leave.

At the house my uncle grabs me by the hair, " WHAT HAPPENED "
" I swear I don't know." This just made him madder. " one moment the glass was there then gone. He fell on the snake and it got scared and-"
Vernon punched me in the gut, "DONT GO SPINNING THIS ON HIM. HE DID NOTHING WRONG. YOU SICK THR SNAKE ON HIM.
" I didn't I swear"
" LIAIR" He grabbed me and threw me in the closet. Nonononono I try opening the door but it's locked. I would fight more but I know from experience that it won't do any good.

I stand up and turn on the light in the room. I look down at the hanging clothes. I punch them. Over and over again. I hate dudley. I hate Uncle vernon. I hate aunt patina. I hate it here. I can feel some tears leave my face. I wish someone would just wipe me away from here and I don't have to come back. I sat down taking deep breaths not realizing how out of breath I was. I was going to tell Vernon that it was magic but I've learned to never say that word. But there's no other was to explain it. It just disappeared after i got angry. Did I do it? Did I make Dudley fall on Rey? Sorry Rey if I did, I didn't mean to.

Strange things happen around me. Many times while running away from my cousin's game catching roses I sometimes would end up somewhere completely different. Like I teleported or something. Most of the time I'm happy when it happens. Except for the one time I got stuck on the roof of the school and got in trouble.
Or another time my hair got stuck in something and it wouldn't come out. My uncle was so mad he hacked my hair. I fell asleep crying all night from all the awful haircut. But surprisingly all my hair grew right back. My uncle was even more made he locked me in my room. Adlest it was my bedroom and not here.

Now I'm going to be stuck here for days. How come I always mess everything up? I hold my legs to my chest and wait for this to be over.
