Swollen marks paint my back with vibrance not unlike the pinks and oranges of my favorite horizons. Looking back, how could such memories form so viciously on my skin ? Nothing can remove the little effort it took for the lingering impressions to disgust my favorite constellation. I am scarred by different needle-threaded stars that had never meant to meet me. What is inadvertently sewn into my skin never asked to exist. If anything, it'd be like a dream to resemble the loveliest warmth that cascades from the sun. Sweet like honey, just falling through spines and making her shake. I can imagine the devastation from my skin never causing her pain. Looking out into the distance , tracing the sky with cigarette smoke and poor decisions, I let go of the stardust that used to occupy the small corners of my palms.
