"I wonder where Allena is.." Lavi let out a sigh.
"Che, who the fuck cares?"
"What happened between you two anyways?"
"None of your damn business!" Kanda snapped at Lavi, who kept prying her with a bunch of questions.
Soon they heard a loud thud against the ceiling the were underneath.
"Uh, what was that?"
"Tch, don't know, don't care."
"You're so grouchy.." Lavi sighed once again, "Alright, in order to find out what the hell that was, we may need to split up."
"Fine by me," Kanda turned and walked away.
"W-wait! I didn't even- Oh forget it." Lavi turned the opposite direction and continued there.
Meanwhile
Allena was on the ground, whimpering and paralyzed from the agony of her fall. She stared off into the distance, unable to think about anything, expect the pain.
"Somebody.. Please.. H-help me.." Images suddenly ran through her mind, images of Kanda.
"No, s-stop.. Kanda.." Tears streamed down the side of her face, "Kanda, help me.. Please.."
She tried to curl in a ball but it hurt too much to move, she let out one last scream as something wrapped around her throat and began suffocating her, "K-Kanda.."
